Default Need thoughts on the cheapest proffesions.

I been wondering on wich is the cheapest proffesion to power level from 1 to 420 (aka getting the bonuses) Im doing this purley for the bonuses since nearly all items are BOE wich makes bonuses the only real + with proffesions.

I will level purley on money from dailies and buy the stuff from the auction house!

Im not using proffesion in any way of money profit so dont think about profit here (apart from disenchanting etc)

I dont not want more miners and i want the option to choose between spelldamage and stamina.

    So theese are ruled out:

Skinning - Critt (lava burst reduced the need of critt in wotlk for elemental shamans)
Mining - 500 hp (Only brings hp and i got it on my "main" shaman)
Herbalism - Hot (Hot that gives 1500 hp wich is retarded with a health pool of 22k)
Alchemy - Trinkets (I never nearly use pots in heroics and my main focus is on arenas now aka useless to me)
Tailoring - Enchant on cloack that procs and give 250 spelldamage (Already got tailoring on one of my shamans, not a fan of procs i rather have flat damage boost or trinkets that activates on use)
Inscription - Shoulder enchants (only gives spellpower/dodge rating or AP, used to be cheap to level but with the new patch prizes have gone up i guess)
engineering - Variouse stuff (Bring alot of good singel player abilties, but got generaly nerfed latley so its out of the question)

Proffesions im considering to getting more of:

Enchanting: Ring enchants (contains both stamina and spell power boosts)
Jewelcrafting: Uniqe jewels (Contains tons of uniqe gems, certainly one of the best proffesions)
blacksmith: 2 extra sockets (Also gives tons of options, but is in my own experience VERY costy to level)
Leatherworking: Superb bracers enchants (Gives both stamina and spelldamage)

Here is how my Shamans is setup atm

Toon 1: Mining/herbing (ive collected 1 herb during all of wotlk so im without any doubt dropping it, gonna keep mining thought for the stamina)
Toon 2: Enchanting/tailoring (Leveled and finished on the proffesion front)
Toon 3: Jewelcrafting (needs one more proffesion)
Toon 4: Inscribtion (Needs one more proffesion

So im wondering on wich proffesions would be cheapest to level of Leatherworking,Jewelcrafting, blacksmithing and enchanting. I know that it can vary from server to server but i dont realy think it varies THAT much in the end.

    Any ideas???

    Considering the cheapest option...

It's going to vary greatly depending on your farming habits. The more you farm yourself, the cheaper the crafting profession will be. I see you are considering leatherworking but I don't see a skinner on your list. Skinning is a gathering profession (low cost high profit). It's also very fast to "catch up". You can go back to lower level areas, gather up gobs and gobs of mobs and kill them fast. Must faster than searching for herbs or ore. Since skinning is practically free I recommend you pick it up. If you save all the mats you skin (mail to bank alt) you can power level leather working for very little cost. Since you'd be leveling both professions at once, those are the two professions that would go hand-in-hand.

Herbing/Alchemy are both very easy to level, pretty much once you max out herbing, as long as you banked all the herbs you picked while leveling it, you will be able to max out alchemy, you may need to buy a few things but nothing major.

I got alch/herb/engineering/skinning already on alts!

Im leveling my proffesions for the bonuses it brings in arena, skinning/engineering/herbing/alch doesnt profit much for an elemental shaman sadly!

And my prot paladin that i do instances with is a skinner actually, it was intended just for leveling but there are lots of mobs that can be skinned in instances!

Im aiming towards LW mainly due to the maths seems cheapest..

Like i said im in NO way intended to mine/skin/herb in order to level the proffesions! :P Doing 25 dailies with my 4 shamans takes 1 hour and 15 and gives me 1300 gold each day!

    Default Cheap or Good?

The only objection you had to skinning in your post was:
Skinning - Critt (lava burst reduced the need of critt in wotlk for elemental shamans)

You never even mentioned you had a skinning alt.

"Here is how my Shamans is setup atm

Toon 1: Mining/herbing (ive collected 1 herb during all of wotlk so im without any doubt dropping it, gonna keep mining thought for the stamina)

Toon 4: Inscribtion (Needs one more proffesion"

    No mention of skinning.

Well, either you're leveling the cheapest thing you can or the best thing you can for pvp, right?

If you wanted the best, you'd go with a combination that (at least according to your own theory crafting) would be best. Then you'd level those two up on all of your Shamen. Best != Cheapest. Sorry if I emphased cheapest (which was the title of your post, btw). You can go with cheap professions that will benefit you some, or the best that will probably cost you more but give you more benefits.

I dint state clear enought that skinning, mining, herbing, alc, tailoring, inscription and engineering is something i didnt want! Sorry about that.

I guess the question was wich was the cheapest of Enchanting,JC,BS and LW.. Like Baleno stated LW was is the cheapest by far 1-325 on 300 gold Hit the wall on knothide leather wich is way way overprized on 25 gold per stack, i will continue tomorrow when the price have normalised.

If Knothide Leather is overpriced, start up a toon skinning - I know you have said that you dont want to, but it took me 1.5 hours to level skinning from 0-375 with a multibox group tagging mobs and then aoe'ing them down and I had a load of leather to sell - once you have the leather you need you can always ditch it for another profession

knothide goes for 10-15 gold per stack on normal days..

Leveling LW from 0-400 costs me somewere between 400-800 gold and ive dont it on almost two chars now and im VERY happy with the price. 1 round of dailies with my team and i can cover the costs of leveling LW to 400 on two chars!
