This has been discussed throughout the ages but yeah I believe you are correct. Before wotlk came out I leveled my pally from 69 to 70 that way in netherstorm. The xaxxis (spelling) mobs were all packed together so I'd tag em all with consecrate then aoe with ma mages worked wonders.
