    Default Coolit Domino

I've been going over cpu coolers for my i7 and came across the Coolit Domino http://www.coolitsystems.com/index.p...id=55&Itemid=6 does anyone have any experience with this? I wanted a coolermaster v8 or noctua but this thing looks kinda nice, anyone have any input?

could not find any direct reviews but it seems to be a low wattage TEC cooled by a single 120 radiator and their uber system monitor ( temp sensor and lcd AKA TT Gatewatch). it would provide sufficient cooling for non overclocking and possibly moderate overclocking. no sub ambient. personally cost vs performance ration TRUE 120, scythe ninja, etc still best bang for the buck. if yuor goign to go "exotic" cooling go all or nothing. either full water or full vapo the half assed solutions work but you dotn egt what you expected out of them. I noticed you mentioned the noctua so if sound is a concern get one of the "colossal" tower coolers and put a noctua or yate loon fan on it.

Thanks, I am planning on OC to around 3.4 so I probly won't get the cool it, I'll check out that sycthe ninja though, Also i'm more looking for functionality vs silence, I don't mind if its loud whenever i'll be on my machine im usually listening to music anyway lol I'm just trying to find the best cooler for an OC i7 short of water cooling.

    ugh...
the coolit domino does only as good as high end air coolers
if you get a prolimatech megahalems or a thermal right ultra extreme 120, you will yield better temps.
    i'd reccomend the prolimatech megahalems.
not dualboxing atm, i might get back on the ol' horse tho

oh wow, sorry i havent been to these forums in forever
i hope you chose the scythe mugen 2, its a great cooler
mounting system is difficult at best, but there are good pictorial guides online.

the xigmatek dark knight is also a very good one
and prolimatech megahalems isnt at newegg, but it is at places like frozencpu.com

the TRUE120 is only any good if you lap it (long gruelling form of sanding the base flat), washer mod it, and put a very high pressure fan on it
not dualboxing atm, i might get back on the ol' horse tho
