case with no start button

LOl i just realized with this new case im making i wont have a start button. does anyone know a way to jerry rig something up or if theres some way to tell your mobo to get in the game without actualy hooking anything having those wires? i could probably find an old case but i dont want to if i can avoid it.

If it has a reset button you could wire it to that instead.

Edit: nm, you're making the case, so the lack of buttons is your own fault :P - go to radio shack and buy a momentary SPST push button and wire the two leads to the mobo power switch pin header.

Have two wires coming out of the case, and touch them as if you were hot-wiring a car ...

ok yeah, im using old speaker wire as of now. turning it off shoots spark in my face but it comes on like a charm, ill think of a better way but not tonight. now i know it works, thanks for the quick helpful posts

I had a MB Bios a few years ago that would allow it to start up with a keyboard press or mouse action. I set it to start with the keyboard and just hit the space bar to start it. I haven't seen this option for a while but It would be nice if they brought it back. Making slick cases would be much easier without power/reset to deal with.

I just sleep my machine and wake it up by clicking USB mouse.
