    Default 3 toons - Spec's too low?

    Code:
     Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz
      Motherboard: Asus P5LD2
      Video Card: Club 3D Radeon X1950 (256mb)
      RAM: 2024 MB (4x 512 MB, 333MHz DDR2)
      Hard Driver: 250 GB
      Screen(s): LG L227WT 22" & ViewSonic P775 17"
    Running on: Windows XP
Currently I'm dual-boxing with 2 accounts. The other is my brother's old account, it had WotLK upgrade already, so if I end up with buying some new hardware + purchase 3rd account, do I need to buy BC&WotLK for codes as well? I sent an RAF-invitation from my 1st account to my possibly up-coming 3rd account, and it had the 10-day Trial, so when I start to pay of WoW on my 3rd account with a credit card, will it get upgraded to WotLK or do I need to buy the 2 expansions?

    Thanks in advance.

dont account share, but yes with all settings on low you should be able to atleast box a little using that.

upgrade your ram/video card and you can see a little better improvement

And how's the thing with upgrading account? Would appreciate much if someone could answer to it.

To answer your upgrade question: yes, you must buy TBC to get WotLK to work (I think that was your question)

To explain Oatboat's comment: using your brothers account is against the rules and can result in BOTH your accounts being banned. There is no way around it, refer yourself two new accounts and ditch your brothers account.

As for system specs, I had a computer of nearly identical specs that couldn't even dual box in Org. Expect your machine to blow up if you three-box in Dalaran.

Have a link to the rules or something? Why is this being illegal to compared whole new account? I'm paying for two accounts anyway.

They want you to pay for the box(s). Just do it, or they will make you pay for yours again too. They won't care if you don't and they lose your monthly payments either. They are always bragging about their millions of subscribers.

Also "sharing" inevitably leads to drama and they don't want to deal with it and I don't blame them for that.

My credit card is getting charged twicely evevy month as I pay for both of the accounts currently. Brother's account is abandoned by him, and he doesn't play WoW anymore, hasn't played for months. He bought TBC&WotLK back in the days he used to play, and upgraded his account to WotLK. What's so illegal here?
And beside all that, we still live in the same house, and we're using same router, so the IP change is so small, if Blizzard ever bothers to check our cases, what could they do? It's not a power-level service for my brother.

Default Din't use your bros account.

It's very cut and dry, and solely based on the first and last name of the person who originally registered the account. If your name is different, and they investigate, they will ban you. I personally don't see the harm, but it's not my rules. We're not supposed to discuss it here, but if you last names are the same, you might get lucky, but IMO it's not worth it. I know, it sucks, and its expensive, but it will be more expensive if you level 3 toons to 80, and get all 3 accounts banned, and having to start from scratch. Just pinch some pennies, and buy a new battlechest. And you don't need to buy TBC or WOTLK for that matter until you hit level 60-70, or if you want to play the types of toons available to those expansions. Spreading stuff like that out always makes things easier.

It is not a matter of "if", it is a matter of "When" because as a multiboxer you will get reported any number of times by people who don't {care to} know the difference between multiboxing and botting. You may get lucky a few times and find a GM who doesn't notice, but when they do, you will lose both accounts. Better to start over before you put in the investment. It's not like RAF leveling is slow.

It would be impossible for blizzard to know the difference from your brother or your dad when it comes to you taking over your brothers account. There is fine lines that will allow this and wont. For instance you live in the same house share the same IP. Blizzard DOES NOT look at how the account is getting paid for or by who is paying for it. As long as it is getting paid. So you have nothing to worry about. I have 4 accounts 5 if you include hubbys. 2 of my accounts are under my maiden name 2 accounts under my married name. I don't pay for 3 of those accounts. My mother-in-law does. So the names are all different from the credit card payment. This as been done for 4 years now. And there has not been a problem. There will only be a problem if I was hacked and I had to prove all the accounts are mine. Which would be a pita.

Now I will back this with what blizzard has said. A friends account was hacked. The hacker revived the account with his/her own game time. When this happened I notified my friend who of course contacted blizzard right away. Blizzards response was. Since this guy/gal is now paying for the account there was nothing they can or will do. The only way for him to get his account back was if he purchased his own time and sent in proof that the account was his. Otherwise the account now belonged to the hacker. All because this hacker was paying for the account as if it was his/hers. My friend finally got his account back after 2 weeks of fighting with blizzard AGAIN. In those 2 weeks the new account owner managed to delete, farm, and cause problems on my friends account.

Blizzard did not care who's name was on the account. They only cared about how it was getting pay for. My friend should of not had to fight with blizzard to get back an account that he purchased the day wow was released. But he did all because this guy PAID to play.

So in closing you pay for it blizzard auto assume's its your account and will do NOTHING unless the orginal owner wants it back.
