    Default Blizzard loosing its touch on pvp?

    Well, I dont know about you guys but I think pvp in wow is going in the wrong direction, I dont want to be a pesimist but all these uber abilities that all the classes have are just ANNOYING. Stuns, CC, Immunities, Knockbacks, Aoes.. etc etc.. sometimes the battlefield is so chaotic its no way to understand what is going on.

    I kinda was hoping that bliz would realize this problem but instead they seem to be wanting to fix the problem by adding to it.

    I for one love pvp but lately its been getting clear that there is not magical fix to the game incoming anytime soon.



    Anyways, those are my 2cents. Agree or not its just how I'm feeling about state of things atm.

    I dont get whats your problem. There are many skills with make lots od diffrent effects. Each class has them so you can never know what your up agiants making you on your guard all the time. And its obvious that the battlefield is chaotic, have you never saw a struggle in front line without a total mess and mayhem? If you can keep up with it simply dont do it.

    If in different effects being frozen, stunned etc etc etc half the time then I suppose you do know what to expect. But I do little else then pvp in wow and this is my conclusion. This is not a whine OMG this and that class is so op, just my feeling of state of things in pvp.

    Well WoW is teamplay game in essence and BGs /Arenas as well, so if your getting CC'ed easily then I suppose you should make premades with guildies/friends communicate via Vent and work togheter to make things easier. Dont expect that you can have smooth sailing in a PuG. The factor that decides with side in BG win is with side has more Premade's and less PuGers/Honor Farmers etc...

    i think theyre losing touch all together. there doesnt seem to be a class specialty, you dont need x-pallies for buffs x-rogues for cc, x hunters for kiting, droods for hots ect ect. theyve seemed to blend every class with every other class so everything can fill every other classes roll. the only class i ever see asked for specificly in any raids anymore are shammies for heroism, the rest of the comp is a blend of whatever, sometimes lots of mages, sometimes hunter, often pallies... i liked it when there were class specific roles you would need fufilled. what happened to cc? i havent cc'ed anything in wotlk. bah! i say bah!

    Agreed!

    Kiting is what makes hunter so cool (remember the beast from UBRS, man i envyed the hunters who kited him) Only place you kite now is some silly zombies in naxx.

    Wow have turned better in some ways thought.

    Remember in Azertoh:

    Warriors was prot
    Druids was resto
    Priests was holy
    Mages was frost(due to lots of bosses beeing fire immune in MC and BWL)
    Paladins was holy
    Rogues was combat
    Shamans was resto
    Hunters was MM
    Locks was UD/ruin if horde(atleast me) and sm/ruin if alliance (FU blessing of salvation)

    Now you can pve with pretty much any class/spec and almost every class can do fair in pvp with 2 specs.

    Things wasnt always better before but i totaly agree that classes have lost uniqness!

    Playing my warrior/dk/ret paladin feels exactly the same apart from some shine!

    Is it even possible for Blizzard to fix PVP?

    Every pvp'er has an opinion and there is no way blizzard can please them all.
    Team: Feral Druid, 3 Ele Shaman, 1 Resto Shaman

    Gimp Team: 4 paladins(13) and a DK(80)

    No it's not.

    There are guys for whom PVP means griefing low levels mercilessly (AKA 'World PVP'), others for whom it means arenas, others play battlegrounds, and there are town/city raiders, etc, etc. Each of those groups wants their version of PVP to be the most important.

    On top of that each player wants their preferred class to always win PVP against all other classes - so even if all classes are perfectly balanced thats still 100% of the PVPers pissed that their class isn't the best.

    It's not that Blizzard can't fix PVP, it's that PVP is impossible to 'fix'.

    "Bring the player, not the class". Add dual spec's to this, and its glorious. Being a Guild Master / Raid Leader myself, this is the best thing to ever come to WoW. If somebody has to leave early / can't show up - another player can fill that roll and we press forward - instead of canceling the raid altogether because we didn't have the right class balance.
