Wow is straight up boring as dog shit to me right now and I REALLY REALLY hate it. that being said I want to try something new sooo what do you say can i get some info on this game? how is it graphics wise, gameplay, fun? PVP you know all that stuff. Is it fun to box in this game? How does RAF work in this game. all that kind of fun info =)

Check out the other posts in this (Everquest) forum. You won't even need the search because it was just created last week.

You should be able to find the answer to most of your questions except for PvP. I don't do any PvP'ing, so I won't be much help.
But I think it's geared more for PvE, or thats the way it seems to me at least.

We've been adding a lot of info to the new Wiki, so take a look at that too for setup and other fun things.

The game works differently than WoW, so a lot of the easy things your used too doing will be a little harder in EQ2. (see macros in wiki and mods).

The graphics are completely different than the WoW style. Better in my opinion.

That being said, it can be a littler more demanding on your computer than WoW in some aspects.
A dual-core laptop I had that ran 3 intances of WoW won't even run 1 instance of EQ2.
BUT that doesn't mean all dual-cores won't work. An older PC with single core ran the game ok with medium to low settings.
My new PC runs all 6 though, 1 with almost maxed settings.

PvP in EQ is totally different from WoW and its a little bit off in terms of balance. I played my first character to 45ish~ on Nagafen and I really detested the PvP. The reason mostly is because people play these really low level characters that get exp locked and get super twinked with pvp items. This causes a huge gear gap between leveling characters and gank groups that go around ganking people with no gear.

Some people enjoy it though. Not my cup of tea personally.
