The patch brought the game forward leaps and bounds in core stuff, like Dual Specs (finally!), interact options, vehicle combat tweaks, swimming mounts, etc. It continues to make it 100x harder for any new MMO to effectively complete against WoW, since the core game now has moved forward so much in functionality.

Content wise however its a weak patch. Is the new stuff going to keep you happy for 4-5 months? Because thats how long the next patch is going to take, if not longer.

The Argent Coliseum is fun for maybe a few days. After that its basically just a whole lot of "run here and here and here and here" doing dumb things, plus the rewards are insanely expensive -- 300 tokens for the flying mount, which is going to take weeks of dailies to complete. I just finished my 3d day, got 15 tokens and unlocked the city factions, I'll probably just do enough to get the pet and stop (lol).

Ulduar is awesome for 3-4 weeks, after that its just going to be the same ol. Its nice for hardcore guilds that they have made the fights fairly difficult, but it kind of sucks for me that its so hard. i liked naxx in that I could join a pug on weekends with any of my chars and there was a fairly high chance the pug would clear it. I'm thinking in Ulduar most pugs are just going to kill the first boss, maybe the second, and thats it.

Still in terms of Blizzard overall patches this one rates pretty high in terms of quality and bugs and delivering exactly what they promise.
Who knows what the AT is going to end up being - it's going to change over time, it could be really cool, or lame, but right now, I'm enjoying it, it's nice break and something new.

I would LOVE a new quest hub or two, like Duskwallow, but they havent talked much about it. Maybe the next patch, that would be nice - and not the next major patch, the could add new quests and hubs without needing a major patch.

Plus, tehre's Noblegarden coming, and Orphan's week.

I'm wondering if they're actually going to try and get the next expansion out faster, and that's why there's not as much content - less content = faster development time = more patches and expansions in less time.

Nah, probably not. This *is* Blizzard, after all.
