Looking to upgrade, advice please

I currently 5 box WoW on 2 machines.

I run 2 wows on: (main at medium-high detail, 1 slave at low detail)
Athalon 64 X2 6400 3.22 ghz
4gb RAM
64bit Vista
ATI Radeon HD 4850
37" HDTV at 1280x720 and 19" CRT at 1024x768

Run 3 slaves on this on low detail
"Laptop" (if you want 20+ lbs on your lap)
Dell Inspiron M2010
Intel Core2 T7200 2.00ghz
2gb RAM
32bit Vista
ATI mobility Radeon x1800
20" widescreen at 1680x1050 and 17" screen at 1024x768

I run 3 on the dell solely because it's higher res screen. Performance is smooth in old world+instances and decent in BC+wrath. Sometimes a slave will pause a sec in BC+ on mounts when loading a new area and lose follow. In Dalaran the dell will run maybe 1fps and sometimes even disconnect a slave. I have to move them through there 1 at a time. On the main PC it is smooth enough to maintain follow but gets jittery.

Now for the questions. I would like to be able to go through Dalaran without breaking follow. I would also prefer to run on 1 machine if possible.

If I upgrade to 8gb Ram(my motherboards max supported) and add in another video card could I run all 5 on it in Dalaran? Would it run 4 and I could run the fifth on the Dell? Should I build another cheap PC?
Also if I decide on going to 2 screens instead of 4+ what is a good screen for the money with a high resolution to run 4 slaves on?

8g of ram would do it I think but I am no pc expert just cap the fps on your back guys lower the resolution on them, graphic settings, etc. you should be fine just buy some cheap ram you can get it for so cheap you cant go wrong by upgrading

I looked up ram prices and found 8gb (4x2gb) for $80. Seems like a good deal to me. Also saw a 46" 1080p lcd tv for under $1000. Does anyone use something like this for 4x wows? I've tried this on my 37" but it is an older lcd and its resolution is kind of odd around 720p. It looks great full screen but divided up it get real hard to read text because the tv pixels dont always match up with the computer pixels exactly. Would this happen with a newer tv?

Usually once you go above 26" on lcd's the refresh rates get higher and higher. a 42" might look good from far away but upclose it will look laggy, and kill your eyes!

Not that a large LCD TV wouldn't suffice, they just tend to have lower resolutions.

Unless you have a I7 system then go with multiple pc's.

Never use 2 video cards.

The problem with the large tv's is you need to sit back from them a bit so your eyes can focus properly. But sitting back a bit means you need to increase all your screen fonts so you can read them which eats up precious screen real estate.

When viewing a big screen from close up for gaming, always have some indirect lighting in the room (from behind you) to balance the Lcd illumination.
