Hunter Castrandom Macro not working.

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty much a hack when it comes to these macros. I was using a great castrandom macro for my hunter, but with 3.1 released it doesn't want to work correctly any more. I will only auto shot now. Here's the macro.

/script UIErrorsFrame:UnregisterEvent("UI_ERROR_MESSAGE");
/cast !Auto Shot
/cast Kill Shot
/cast Kill Command
/castrandom Explosive Shot, Explosive Shot, Explosive Shot, Steady Shot, Multi-Shot, explosive shot, steady shot



Now if I just use the /castrandom part of the macro it will still work, but I would like to be able to keep the /cast kill shot and /kill command in the macro.

Any ideas as to why this macro no longer works as written?

i think this doesn'T work, because with 3.1 Kill Shot is back on the GCD, and thus can't be used like this.

Kill shot is now on the GCD so that macro wont work now. You also dont need /cast !auto shot as its completely unlinked from other shots now, its been this way since WotLK.

Just FYI, that macro would be a huge dps loss, as it would try to cast explosive shot when its on cooldown all the time. That castrandom line will hit explosive shot about 50% of the time, as it has a long-ish cooldown you'll be losing dps while it tries to do this.

If you just want that macro to start working again, take out the kill shot, or add kill shot it into your castrandom line.

Markmanship is the way to go now and it can be macroed ALOT better/easier from what ive hear!

Thanks.. I didn't know they changed it. I might take a look at MM. I just want something easy and that does really good dps. I know, not asking for much, lol

honestly, i'm also thinking about to change my Hunter back to MM, simply because i find it much more simpler to manage with macros than sv (for example with 5 different classes, i'm simply not smart enough to watch out for LnL-procs).Another point is, that i realy like all the instants of an MM-Build and that i don't have to reaply Serpent Sting at all.
