I went human for the extra fear-bomb mitigation, but I've yet to see it make any huge difference. Another thing I like about the pallies is their SPEED, so I don't spend much time guarding in bg's. Kamikaze runs suit my playstyle anyway

As far as handling casters, the Avenger's Shield is getting a silence effect! Too much fun.
