Default EQ2: Don't like the new follow changes? Make it heard on SoE

    Hey,

Might be worth adding your support if you don't like the new changes to the SoE thread

Looks like someone actually likes the changes on that thread, from the way it sounds though the old system was amazing.

I finally ran into a problem with the new follow changes..and it happened to be while I was pretty high up on a cliff. :P

My followers got stuck on some geometry, and took off running in another direction..off the cliff.

Good news is, EQ2 seems to let you fall a LOT futher than WoW without getting killed.

There is also another thread here in the Combat and Gameplay forum petitioning the same thing. It also mentions there that follow works differently depending on how your camera 'free look' is set.

The follow issue happens when the person your following has a vertical height change and the follower cannot get there. They then head off in a random direction. Just make sure you're watching when youre going up either fp towers or ramps and one of your follows happen to fall off.

Otherwise the underwater follow fix is amazing. no more bobbing at the surface because the followed goes for a dive.
