EOS Failure

I've ended up starting to level my Alliance Shammies as quickly as possible (Level 66 now) in order to get around the lack of gearing in AV problem.

Horde are truly terrible in my BG (Cyclone) they almost barely win and don't know how to heal for what its worth.

The Alliance is where I played for like 4+ years before I started to box horde side but in order to combat my lack of PVP gear I run with a healer in the BG's as well. Horde side I cannot find anyone worth playing with as a healer at least all my friends are still playing alliance side its just a matter of time before I catch them. Which should be in a few weeks.

Hey, well been hanging all day long in the bgs now, AV is a huge success but AB and EOS are getting to be more of a hit or miss(still loosing more then winning). Also tested the strand of ancient with some sad results.

I have come to the conclussion that AB and EOS can be done with some success, just need to practise, practise and practise.. ofc if you get slackers with you in the team then its doomed anyways, boxing or no boxing.

I truly thank god for AV, its a very boxer friendly bg compared to the rest.

I read somewhere that some ppl like strand of the ancients, would love to get some tips on that one, my group is always split between boats and if you loose a char then it can slow you down alot since this is a race of time.

Not that I have tested this theory in Strand but I think if your team is in different groups of the raid you MIGHT get them all on the same boat because when I have all 4 in the same group they are always 2/2 on each boat and I have to round them up.

...Hopefully AV comes back to life soon and I dont have to do EoTS AB WG or Spam of the Ancients again...

This is make or break for me... if AV isn't back after the patch I think I'm done.

I swore I wouldn't multibox BG's (the idea didn't appeal to me) and just leveled up a team for PVE only. From time to time I see these threads and it tempts me to give it a try - curse you all!

I single box BG's with one of my warlocks (my class of choice atm) and unfortunately haven't ever seen a single multiboxer in my battlegroup since I began playing (obout 3 years ago). Wish I was on your battle groups to see some of this in action!

Its really not that big of a deal, just the WOW factor you can do when 4X Lava Burst owns someone. Really if you thought PVE you were going to pull your hair out in PVP you definately will.

I don't have the best setup with totems etc, but I do pretty good with my undergeared Shammies in BG's. Granted my team gets owned cause they are retards but never the less.

Also if you run a shammy team in BG's don't expect to be top damage in most matches. I end up having alot of the HK's but for actually damage not so much, because of the burst of damage you can provide with 4X Shaman.

If you run with a healer then expect to wreck shit just like anyone else running with a healer. I highly suggest running with a Holy/Disc Priest for the damn pesky ret/holy pallies. Its really the only class the can wreck me by itself or combined with a few others.

A lot of the flaming is done before the battle starts and people inspect your gear.
--> If you're still gearing up, you'll get some "LOLs" or "oh great, a multiboxer... this is fail".
--> If you're well-geared from the get-go, people either don't say a word or they say "AWESOME WE GOTZ A MULTIBOXER! WIN!"

So true right there. My gear is only half way decent now (still have a few pieces of savage), but I don't get the flames anymore. Now most of the time it's nothing, even if I carry them to a 4 cap. The worst is when they cheer that they got a multiboxer and it's a guaranteed win, then the other 11 of them follow me around the whole game and we lose everything we cap (this is especially true in AB which I mostly quit once I got 100 marks)... then they just lose faith in multiboxers.

I don't really know where people get such strong opinions about multiboxers on Reckoning. I've run into a grand total of 0 in battlegrounds and arena, and I've done several hundred games. And on Nathrezim, to my knowledge I'm the only 80 multiboxer on Horde, unless there's one with a mixed group that hides out in heroics all day that I haven't seen. As such most people know me at this point, but I still get the occassional "lol failbox" idiot running by or the whispers about how pathetic I am for spending $75 a month. And in recruiting healers for 5v5 (practice I call it) some of them say sorry, I've rolled with a multiboxer before and it was fail (who? there are so few of us...)
