    Default Choosing a group..

haven't played in a year, so sorry if I get things wrong.

I know there's always threads on this, but I wanted a bit of a discussion as I haven't yet got my keyclone activated and there's nothing I want to solo.

Ok my old team used to be, Paladin, S Priest, H Priest, Mage, Warlock.. and it's a PVE team of course.

Healer Priest has always been my favourite, but I think it might be time to let her go in favour of a healer shaman.

My thoughts are, totems! In particular tremor totems - as combatting mass fear is a huge bonus for boxers.
Also the buffs the H priest gave, I can still get stam buff from S Priest.

Is a shaman healer good enough for heroics?

Mage provides int buff, fire damage+ from scorch (help with imp and fire dot from warlock), drinks/food and portals, sheep.
Warlock provides imp stam buff, soulstones, summons, dots
S Priest provides VT, VE, Stam Buff, Shadow weave (help warlock and s priest damage)
    Shaman, Temor Totem.... etc
    Paladin, Buffs, AOE Tanking

Shaman healer is fine. I really like druids, but there are times when I think... "shit, if only I had a mega heal that person would not have died."

A shaman draenai has a nice racial bonus too,

How do i get to the draenai starting area? I've made a character of each race.

ride a boat from starfall(?) village I believe to the draenei island. It's probably faster to beg for a port from a mage.

Thanks, I've just found out that stormwind now has a dock! I got my dwarf paladin, gnome warlock, human mage, night elf priest....over to the shaman draenai's starting point what a motley crew

Penitence, Heartache, Misfortune, Woe and Plight....

    that'll do me.

Looks like it will be a fun group.

I haven't played my alliance in a long time but wow, your gnome's head looks HUGE. Did they buff gnome head sizes?

The beautiful thing about that group is that if you decide you'd rather try a healing priest later, you can just respec holy and respec your shammy as elemental. Then your crew would look just like mine (er... one of mine).

Should be a fun journey for ya.

    Enjoy

Mercurio beat me to it, but I was gonna say the same thing. I have multiple teams, and the holy priest is simply the easiest healer to box with. one button heals the whole team, and with a clever macro, I put most of the good spells to use, and always hear that sound of the PoM zing flying around.

But definately enjoy running it as you plan, you might prefer the healer being a bit more resilient, with a self rez. (although I have had a few times when my priest dies, and the spirit of redemption saved my butt big time, because it usually hapens toward the end of a fight, and healing my palading gives him a ton of mana. Maybe i should throw in a balance druid to my team to brez the priest....)
