    The extra memory will help a lot. I hope you aren't buying another video card for wow as it doesn't utilize SLI in any way. You'll actually see lower peformance with it enabled.

    No im not just getting it for WoW. Yeah sli doesnt work with wow good anyways. I do CAD so I actually do need it for that but all my other games get the bonus of having it. I play farcry and crisis to. I did play GoW but not anymore.

    btw, since you are bouncing between 43 and 50, that's an indicator to me that you are at the top of your fps for your current rig.

    if you set your maxfpsbk to 30, then you'd get a solid (ish) 50 on your active wow. this is due to saving some fps on your alt screens... saving gpu/cpu for your active screen.

    also, it is a good idea to not be at 100% cpu/gpu as your system won't handle and onslaught of new data very well.

    and you should also run under 80% physical memory use. somewhere over 80% and your system will start to thrash to disk. here's a way to figure it:

    winXP(500M) or vista(750M)
    wow(500M) * 5 == 2.5g

    roughly 3g

    X * 0.80 = 3g
    X == 3.75 g minimum

    so, about 4g of memory and you shouldn't thrash very often (i run 8g and its awesome)

    I think the issue here is that you might have set the max fps in keyclone to 20 FPS for the slaves, and keyclone does this by modifying a wtf file. If you load the slaves, then the master in keyclone (just put the "main" last in the command) then manually run wow, it will use the same fps settings as the keyclone main. But I'd just start running your extra wow from keyclone anyway, so u can make damn sure the FPS settings/username/resolution etc are correct.

    And yeah, get that ram ASAP. Hell when my company builds PCs for end users doing office work we put 4 GB in, just because its relatively inexpensive, and helps eliminate potential problems. If you do CAD, I'd seriously consider upgrading to 64 bit and going 8GB +

    Yeah thanks. I was just doing the 50 fps to prove to gurblash that my system was capable of doing it with 2gb of ram. My physical memory doesnt even hit 30%. I monitored it for about 10 mins playing WoW to see how high it got with 5 boxes open. The highest it got was 26%. Which Im really amazed that it didnt get higher. Yeah I am looking into building a new system just for my CAD. My boss said since I work from home the company will pay for it a % of it so lol yeah. Thanks for the help!

    for azeroth 2g ram might cut it, but once you get to outland and northrend you will notice the difference. Also, framerates will increase when staring at a wall in an instance :P

    I dont know i get a constant 40-50 fps in orgrimmar on a busy night. But i did run out the other day and get 2gb of ram for my comp and its still runs fine. Havent noticed any big difference yet except the 120 bucks it costed me to get the ram.

    also you might want to set the cpu affinity in the config.wtf and the core affinity on each instance of keyclone and max and minumum fps settings
