    Default OCZ 1TB SSD

    http://www.techpowerup.com/86997/OCZ...er_Speeds.html

    Highlights:
A few points however, first the price tag. Somewhere around $1500 and transfer speeds at up to 712 MB/s read, 500 MB/s write as well as almost zero access time.

Also ... the thing is HUGE. Like the size of a good video card, and takes up a PCI-E x8 slot.

I love my meager 30GB OCZ CORE, the performance is fantastic.

I can't wait to upgrade when the prices come down.

I'm thinking of getting one of the cheapies and just use it for my swap file. I imagine that would make a huge difference.

I like that idea. The bigger ones are just way too expensive for my tastes. A small cheap one for swaps could make a huge difference for a minor cost.

Some of the cheaper SSD's will actually drop your performance
