Maybe its just because I've been watching the forums so much lately, but I see a lot of "just started, where's the guide for this?" posts, which I guess is fine, but it really irks me that people just expect this stuff handed to them. Some of us actually had to go figure this stuff out, and are STILL working on figuring stuff out. I wish people would just do their research and try and figure this stuff out themselves before asking for hand outs.

i remember when i was just a lurker and id see all the posts from people who didnt search or read or anything and id see wilbur just laying into them. i thought at first he was kinda a jerk about it. now that ive been here for a bit and figured it all out without asking any dumb questions i see all the same things being posted over and over and ive realised something. he wasnt the jerk... it definitely wears on you.

We need to plug a hose into the back of our heads like in the matrix. That's about the easiest way to share information and get around the whole reading thing.

My copy of Hannibal Rising arrived the other day and tbh I've never been so engrossed in a book before except maybe LotR and a few others.

Should just make it so that until you have like 25 posts or something the "New Thread" button will send you to a form that looks just like a regular posting form, but instead of posting when you hit the "submit" button, it just takes the subject line, sticks it into the search and spits out the search results. Then stick the "Yes, really submit this post" button on the bottom of the results page ;P
