Actually the higher end raids of WoW are on par if not harder than EQ raids.

On the nerfing, they definitely nerfed instances. Remember when you could zone into BRD and kill grey mobs for 20mins until you finally got to the mobs you wanted to grind for xp? I hated that. Also remember that Cathedral in the Monastery had a mob range of like 10 levels? Ya that sucked too.

the whole point of going into the instance was for me to see if the team was going to be viable at the upper levels.
the early instances is so nerfed that I won't be able to know if they are worth anything until I get them to 70 and try UK, where the instance isn't nerfed or at least the content was built for 3.0 talents.

What i would like to see is old world instances heroic mode, its a huge undertaking and will never happen but i would love to play herioc brd, scholo or dm. there is so much content that doesn't get touched now. At least as heroics they would be challenging.

I partially disagree: they shouldn't just add a heroic mode, but a regular and a heroic mode that scales depending on your level.

Just as a fore-warning.. Heavy melee groups get ALOT harder to control and run through NR instances. AoE+melee heavy group=an extreme pain in the ass.

I have 3 paladins at lvl 72. Questing could not be easier but the unfortunate part is that that is all they will be able to do. I used to think that PvPing and/or PvEing with my pallies would be a blast but after getting raped on the last boss of UK multiple times PvE looks grim and PvP looks even worse. Now im only lvling them to get a lvl 80 farming team that can do dailies with ease.

this is exactly what I was afraid of, that the only way to tell if the group is worth anything is to level them all the way to 70 only to find the team is worthless or less than perfect.
I have to admit they are more dungeon viable than anything group i've done so far... ( which is probably 3.0 talents + BoA gear more than anything )
per say, my team is doing so well and for the most part I am having a blast doing every instance I can find for them... so I'm going to play them at least to 70.... I'm going to keep playing them as long as I"m still having fun :thumbsup:

you tried to 3 man UK ? my DK and 4 shamans get raped by the *first* boss in UK... even though I suck; I'm not surprised you're having trouble 3 man'ing that instance ?
