I saw that you have a lvl 70 Pal and 4 Priests that you have speced holy. I have been kicking around this idea since i made my team and found that smite with crusader hit harder than Mind Blast. Would you mind Shareing some of the things you have learned leveling your team? Did you do shadow at all or was it all Holy? Do you just renew and flash heal your tank with all 4 or do you use a main healer? things like this. I'm about to go on vacation for 2 weeks so all the things i want to find out are going to be delayed lol.

Holy priests hit hard, but they are a nightmare for aggro,

where the paladins obvious main goal is to tank, this spec will also work in a treat for healing in pvp senarios, as rogues liturally end up killing themselves trying to deal any damage to you. Been a while since ive played my paladin the only changes to this is the stamina boost really.

just swap between auras between concentration and sanctity depending on who your fighting against.

and for the priests either deep disp or deep holy trees or 2 or each could work really well.

renew stacks and is awsome, have 2 priests in my team both for dps reasons, shadow is fine, little bit of healing small dps boost for the 2 warlocks but couldnt have them holy spec, nukeing smite makes way way too much agro for my voids to handle so maybe a paladin would be ok.

slightly tempted now after looking at the maths of your idea i think this could be pretty good.

As collecting a 1000 raw spell damage is pretty easy with enchants and gems, with the debuff would be somthing like 1219 spell damage

here are the spell damage coefs

Holy Fire (Direct Damage Effect) 85.71%
Holy Fire (DoT Effect) 16.5% (roughly)
Mana Burn 0.0%
Mind Blast 42.86%
Mind Flay 59.0% (might be wrong)
Shadowfiend 65.0%
Shadow Word: Death 42.86%

Smite 71.43%

so smite takes 71.43% of 1219 spell damage adding 870 spell damage to the 545-611 is 1415-1481 spell hit

add on the santity arua and smite talents and your smites are buffed by 20%

is up to 1777 spell hit, which really doesnt sound like alot.

mindblast with the same spell damage but this time deep shadow spec

takes 42.86% of the 1000 spell damage adding 428 to the spell damage to the 708 to 748 is about 1146

when you take into account missery, shadow weaving and shadow form adds 30% to your mindblast spell, so 1146 x 1.3 = 1528 spell hit.

it does seem that a smite priest would do more damage.

hard to work out the criticals as you get 15% from the shadow talent shadow power when maxed out, you could aslo get 13% for holy criticals with talents and a talented crusader judgement on the target.

you could spam out the smites unlike mind blast which is on an 8 second cooldown, which can be reduced by 2.5 seconds when talented.

i think this set up deserves a trial, could be the next 5 shaman nuke team

im sure my math is flawed, so i would also love to hear from someone who is already doing this set up.

would also love to talk to someone whos doing 5 druids
