interesting duo : hunter and pala

I play many many teams, too many to be 80 yet. Although I have 6 accounts, I mainly play duos and my main duo is (hunter, elem shaman). Very easy to level up to 70. I also spent a lot of time on my holy paladin, not multiboxing, just healing in pug or guild instances. Very easy to find groups.

One week ago, I decided that levelling in instances was a bit boring and repetitive and replaced the shaman by my holy pala. Not soo good I thought. Just buffing the hunter and pet, healing a bit, shocking a bit. Not so bad. I still keep the option of healing in instances, so a good compromise. Also, for wild pvp, a pala can move a bit and still shock heal. Levelling quietly from 70 to 73.

Until yesterday, I crossed a mobs village, got dismounted, with 10 mobs on cac : gorilla thunderstomp, consecration, volley. All dead. I just naively discovered the pleasure of aoe. Of course, it's possible with a solo hunter, even (hunter, shaman). I never tried but really, with a holy pala, its a very strong aoe combo.

just wanted to share this small pleasure with the community. Sometimes, strategy and anticipation is good. Sometimes, being dismounted is good too.

lol no ideal man the only other combo besides my 4 shammys i would ever run is a 4 druid MAYBE a 4 hunter not shore i get peoples take on the pala trip but hell we are boxers to each his own ;p

I loved my hunters + paladins. Pets all over the place, AOE, traps, and unlike my shammies, they didn't need to hold still all the time to DPS. Snakes *3 + volley *3 + consecrate *2 made things go dead pertty fast

I box 3 paladins and lovin them. I can take on a dozen or more enemies at once and AoE through them. If your considering boxing paladins i can give you my tips on how to box a healer as a slave extremely effectively.

Just recently in Skorn in Howling Fjord i took on a personal record number of enemies. 22 all at once. I face pulled them all while mounted ran inside of a neaby building popped my 50% damage reduction shield and ripped a hole right through them with AoE (imp ret aura+divine storm x2+consecrate x3=massacre.) Over healing is a must while doing such pulls although it completes grind and gathering quests in 2-3 pulls
