I'm going to guess they got you because of masked vulgarity/partial or complete sentances, since that can be read as "Il cops are bastards".

Maybe showing my ignorance of Arena here - but couldn't a team mark up a kill order on an opposing team in the same way you can mark up mobs in instances.

No mucking about with player names - kill skull, then cross etc.

Still I guess they would have to think of that.

I have a suspicion that naming your toons all the same but for accented letters could be constreud as 'against the spirit' if enough people were to complain about it. would probably never happen in real life though, unless you got a pissed off opposition team.

It's fine as long as the name can be pronounced.

you saw my intention but the gm said it because you cant pronounce the name -.-
I have experiences with the above mentioned term violations but THIS TIME it was sth. else ^^

It depends mostly on the gm's mood. We had a guild on our server which was named "Yacuza". They had to change their guildname after existing almost 2 years. "The guilds name is too close to the name of a crime syndicate" was the reason for this action.

I am trying to name all of my chars identical. The char with the most unusual name is my main so the enemy won't expect that name to be the boxing-main.

Just pick a name (i.e. the name of your favourite DJ/Artist) and just write it different. Most of the names will work as long as they don't offend nether having a title as sir or king.

You can use any name you want unless its already in use, a protected in game name, or till your reported.

My slaves all have the letter x at the end. I call the group Starbuck Jones and the ex's

You are supposed to pick a name that goes with the lore of the game without taking something from blizzard or anyone else. Becareful. I am notorious for reporting people who use things like Roflcopter and such. Iownjoo. Etc. Those are annoying names and show no creativity in coming up with a unique name. I reported someone who was 78 with the name Iluvopium. Another was Lililililia and his 3 boxed toons. They are now different names.

It is against the naming policy. Someone tried to get me once for my name of Jessianna claiming it was a first and last name. They didn't get away with it =).

Keep in mind I'm not the only "asshat" out there that will get you for naming your toons against the naming policy.
