Keyclone stops responding in windows 3,4,5 when i tab between 1 and 2.

Hey guys,

No error message, or any notice.

Topic title doesnt quite describe it all. Ill write down every detail and step i do to describe the problem:

- I launch my 5 wows through my 5 commands, each wow has its own processor except wow2 and wow3 which shares one.

- After they boot i click my wow1 and login all my accounts simultaneously.

- Everything is working fine. I can target a guy in wow1 and hit my 1 key and all shammies bolt away.

Running a freshly started shammy team, so only have follow macro on G,bolt macro on 1, assist on NUMPAD-DEL. My bolt macro is:

/target Undyingstorm 
/assist 
/cast bolt

now... If i then tab to wow2, and back to wow1, only wow1 and wow2 will work with my bolt macro.

If before that i tab to wow3 and back to wow1, only wow1 and wow3 will work with my bolt macro.

No error message if produced from the wows not working. The macro is fine.

If i then select wow2 and press 1, then select wow3 and press 1.. etc.. and finally selects wow1 again, it will work fine.. Until i tab again..

Strange part is... my follow macro, assist and jump on spacebar... Always work... Even when the bolt macro on key 1 doesn't.

When its not working the shammies aren't even targeting my main guy, which they should if it doesnt result in them casting the bolt, so i dont think the key gets passed.


Only thing i can see fixing this is a complete removal of all keyclone settings, but it doesnt seem like it saves anything but the serial key outside the keyclone program folder.
I tried with a fresh install with only 5 commands added, no do-not-pass, maximizer, round-robin or the likes.

Im totally lost on this issue, i've tried everything possible i think. Help would really really be apreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that my heal macroes behave the same way as the bolts.

EDIT 2: This problem only happens when i ALT+TAB, not when i windows-key+mouseclick the wows.

EDIT 3: Found out its the ALT key that gets "locked" when i alt+tab.. i.e. if i bind something to ALT+1 it gets used if i've ALT+TABBED without highlighting the window with the mounse afterwards... Didnt use to happen... Could Really use some help

Its not relating to you not having removed the predefined ALT+whatever keys in wow? Just a suggestion.

You should also check if keyclone got all 5 instances of your wow registered in the "fron" of the application (the big window).

You can also check if the icon on your toons get "pressed" when you hit example the button 1. I had a similar problem, but found out it was a broken macro on one of my toons. I was going nuts!

Also, the final thing. If you have closed keyclone, make sure the program is actually closed in the task manager. Try restarting only keyclone when you have your 5 instances of wow open.

I think I got the same problem.
Playing with 5 characters, sometimes tabbing onto the first toon to check the inventory, tabbing back to the main. When I then press my xkeys Button "Shift+F7" Toon1 and Main are reacting as they should, Toon 2, 3,4 are pressing "Ctrl+Shift+F7" EVERY TIME (at least when it goes wrong) which will summon my fire elementals, to undo exactly that effect all I need to do is to click ONCE in every window of these affected toons and et voila - they're reacting as they should be.

Yeah, its the same problem Xorn describes.

Im affraid that ive tried all of Seldums suggestions.

Its the ALT key that gets locked when i ALT+TAB.

It would work if i removed my ALT bindings, but thats not going to happen hehe

I have a very similar problem when I alt tab to a browser or other program, I never alt tab between my wow windows.

The easiest way to fix it I've found is to just click alt once (press then let go) on any window. This fixes the issue for me.
