Tag Boosting result - can you beat it?

Okay here's one of my toons from my current team - I'm questing



From level 30 to level 40 is 572400 XP per toon (XP chart I used: http://www.wowwiki.com/Formulas:XP_To_Level)

It took 8 hours and 15 minutes to level the team (thats 495 mins)

Here's the math bit: 572400/495 = 1156 XP per minute = 69381 per hour per toon

Thats about a 57% increase on your 'tag boosting' method

I had a team of 3 RAF accounts with two level 60 helpers - which reduces XP gained by a considerable amount, with a single booster this would have been a lot more (but maybe not as fast)

You can read this any way you like Sam but your vaunted tag boosting method sucks ass compared to almost any other way to get XP.

30-40 is going to give more then 32 per level. How much more I am not sure.

Still seems instance boosting has questing beat if your results are typical.

Your original post was a 'beat this' one. I did. End of story.

AFAIK instance boosting is the quickest way to do it, but you CANNOT instance boost with a lvl 50 paladin, he won't clear it fast enough to make it worth your time.

The reason you're losing out on exp and taking so long to level is not because you're playing too many toons, it's because you have no knowledge of how to play.

You're an amateur trying to compete with professionals and so far they've been indulgent of your 'eccentricities', this won't last, especially if you do something dumb that brings us all into disrepute - like being too knowledgeable about [program that must not be named] for someone who doesn't do [activity that must not be mentioned].

don't let the naysayers get you down Sam, I understand your strat perfectly. You want to only hit level 70 once the next expansion is out, so that you have all of Northrend to yourself, and can win Wintergrasp every time since you will be the only person in there.

Then when the next Blizzard MMO is out you should be level 80, and will have the entire server to yourself as everyone else is playing the next MMO. Truly then you will be THE CHAMPION OF WOW.

Its a great strat and pacing yourself so you only do a level a week is a great way to maximize that strat. Also thanks for helping our economy and I hope you keep buying new accounts and RAFing them, since I bought ATVI stock it hasn't moved up enough really and I'm hoping you can single-handedly boost subscriber numbers by a few hundred.

Humm well if a 50 pal can't do the job then its tag boosting or questing for me and I hate questing. Still I gonna give it a try with a 50, those mobs aren't all that if I can clear 1/2 as fast still might be advantagous. Im in uglo crater now and that soil quest seems very easy enough (well I hate most quests not all), and is repeatable from what i understand. Still the whole thread was worth it for the math Smooth posted, so live and learn.

And yet no one thinks that Perpared can't play or is to slow even though his Shaman have not gained a level in what now 3 or 4 months?

Gee sorry if I know to much. I think it fair to say that everyone knows me enough to know I don't represent others or the "community".

Besides my play style is as different from a 5 boxer as a 5 boxer is as different then one character players, Prepared is my real competition and it seems I am gaining on him daily.

ps: sam I told you many many times to get your pally and another to 61 with your first raf to do learn the game and help your others for boosting and now you pretend you don't know 50 won't work... idiot

I just checked the armory, and it says Prepared is at 70. Perhaps he's learning the WotLK content solo first before he multiboxes it?

People don't give much thought to Prepared and his levelling speed or anything because he isn't out there begging for attention.
