So, I saw the post for ATM totem farm but since its all changing in a matter of weeks i thought id get some balls rolling on what people think is the best idea.
lets look at our totems:
Stackable (benefit for having all 4 down):
Healing Stream Totem
Grounding Totem
Stoneclaw Totem
Magma Totem
Searing Totem
Fire Nova totem
Earthbind Totem
Not Stackable
Totem of Wrath
Stoneskin Totem
Tremor Totem (confirm this is now a useless totem to stack, correct?)
Mana Spring Totem
Wrath of Air totem
Windfury Totem
Strength of Earth totem
I am unsure if stacking has a benefit:
Poison Cleansing Totem
Disease Cleansing Totem
(if anyone has PTR data on whether these totems still remove debuffs in parallel let me know.
So, its 2am and I probably missed a couple melee totems or something but whatever.
SO here's what I'm thinking for my shamans (I run 4):
Shaman 1 castsequence: Grounding Totem, Tremor Totem, Magma Totem, Poison Cleansing Totem
Shaman 2 castsequence: Tremor Totem, Totem of Wrath, Wrath of Air totem, Disease Cleansing Totem
Shaman 3 castsequence: Grounding Totem, Mana Spring Totem, Magma Totem, Stoneskin Totem
Shaman 4 castsequence: Grounding Totem, Strength of Earth totem, Poison Cleansing totem
All shaman button sequence 1: Stoneclaw totem, (earth totem from sequence above)
All Shaman button sequence 2: Fire Nova totem, (fire totem from sequence above)
Each shaman will have the ability to drop an earthbind totem and the option to replace a tremor if needed.
SO, id have one button that when pressed 4 times gives the top totems and when I see peopel coming for me i can drop my stoneclaw for the shield and then immediately put the earth totems back in place until I can shield myself again. Getting the timing of this is going to be crucial I think.
So, if anyone knows if multiple poison and disease totems have a benefit pls let me know, and no speculation, if nobody has done actual testing on PTR or has a blue post or other reputable information to share please dont try to confuse the situation.
