Default Run for the Hills! Another Boosting Question!

I'm sorry I have a few questions about this. I looked through the wiki and even searched a lot on here, but I cannot find answers to some problems I'm having.

    My setup is this:

    Main account (with my 80s) ->RAF'D Slaves A, B, C and D

When I run my 5 box (5 druids at the moment) everything is fine. I get RAF experience on all toons. "Great," I thought. "I'll try this instance boosting thingy now!".

Created a party on A,B,C,D. Got them to 10. Went to DM. Added my DK. Killed stuff. No bonus XP?

Am I correct in thinking that the Master Account must have a toon in the party (i.e one of the lowbies) in order to get the RAF boost? If so, how do you instance boost when you've RAF'd as I have? Do I need to move one of my 80s to another account?

How would I go about boosting my 5 team? I guess this is the same question - do I have to move one of my 80s off the master account and onto a new seperate account?

I'm really confused - I'm sorry for the dumb questions. I was under the impression that RAF boosting through instances relied on the master account having an 80 to powerlevel the slaves.

The characters that are linked need to be within 5 levels of each other to receive bonus xp. So when you use an 80 you wont get it. If you move your 80 booster to account D, your main acct and slaves A,B,C can get RAF bonus because now they are within level range of each other. Basically you screwed it up. You should have left your main unlinked.

edit: not sure if you move 80 to acct D if your main acct will still get RAF bonus. I think it will because it is still linked with A-C.

You should have linked Master account to A to B to C to D. [ Master -> A -> B -> C -> D] if you wanted to boost w/ your 80. Sorry man, your out of luck with the boosting if this is how you have them linked. But after get a few teams to 60ish don't forget to use your grant a levels.

Your boosting main account needs to be un-linked to the accounts being boosted for them to get RaF bonus xp.

    Slash is right.

I have a level 80 friend boosting me from an un-linked account and i´m receiveing raf bonus xp.

Ah crap So I can't do this?

I can't even borrow an account because then that would be violating the "all accounts under the same name" rule, right?

What if I make a new account with my details completely unrelated to all of the others and transfer an 80 to that?

Your best bet would be to create another account, not linked, transfer the 80 to that account and boost your old main account as well as A,B, and C. You could theoretically get rid of D.

The thing that I am wondering is, if you had Main -> A -> B -> C -> D, could you transfer the 80 to account D and still get the RAF bonus by boosting?

You could make a new account with correct details, don't Raf it though! Transfer an 80 from your main account to this new account, then use this account to boost your old main account, and 3 of the RaFed accounts.

The 4 accounts being boosted would then get triple xp.

There may be a better way to do this, but that way would certainly work.

    Edit: beaten to it!

Thanks guys. I think I'll do that.

The cost saving alternative is to simply quest to 60 with your druids, I know boosting can do it faster but it doesn't take that long to quest there.
