Eww, yeah had a similar thing happen when we moved into this new apartment. They'd just renovated it after a fire took out a couple of the units. Everything inside the place was/is brand new. We moved in and I set up my computers only to find 0 cable outlets. Worse, there wasn't any insulation either, it was the tail end of summer and definitely noticable during the day. Thankfully, the apartment manager got the insulation resolved promptly, getting the new cable installed unfortunately took a couple of weeks. By the end I was fiending for a fix.
