Things I wish I had understood about RAF

RAF just ended and I made a couple of mistakes. No biggies just could of saved a some time and finished sooner if I had understood, Here are my notes.

1. The Referring(old) account is the account the levels get Granted to. ( I should have understood this, the information it out there I this just missed it thats on me)

2. Granted levels count for calculating levels to be granted. I could have quit sooner if I had know this. My accounts where linked A to B to C to D to E (you get compound interest ).

Example, Last night I had a level 1 granted up to level 60 turn around and grant 29 levels to a level 1 on the next account, I did that three times. As a result I have lots of extra toons. And some grantable levels I could not grant because the account on the server was full.

3. If you level from 1 to 60 you can grant 29 levels. You don't get credit for level 1 and it rounds down. 1 level to grant for each 2 earned.

4. When granting levels make sure to use up your lowest level toons first. Got in a hurry and missed out on some levels I could have granted from from some lower level toons.

5. If you link the account A to B to C to D to E, you get 1 free month for each referral 4 free months . But that means only one account has paid the two months to qualify for the mount. I am not sure I will get mounts on the other accounts. The account links run 90 days and they only paid for one month, billing cycle lenght I think is a problem, will see. :?:

6. Becareful to turn in quests before they grey out. You level so fast it is easy to grey a quest befor you turn it in and then its no 3X exp for you.



What I leveled on 5 accounts: 1 group to 70, 3 groups to 60, 2 groups to 20, 1 group to 10. 5 DK's to 60 total earned levels in RAF = 1440. ( not counting compounding or lvls 60 to 70)

Results: 5 X lvl 70's, 36 X lvl 60's, 1 X lvl 53(my mess up should have been 60), 3 X lvl 20's, 1 X lvl 10. Total granted levels = 831 :thumbsup:

It is fun to grant all your levels in a Major City and watch the locals howl. I did it in Stormwind City. This part took several hours over a couple nights to do.

RAF it was pretty sweet but I am glad it is over. Now I can move on to figuring out what to do with these guys. ?( I may have to spend a few bucks later to move them around to fix the granting on the wrong account problem.

No, you leveled 5 times you get to grant 2 levels to the master account.

No. They count for 2 levels. 55-60. (56,57 =1, 58,59 = 2, 60 = nothing.)

Gotcha. So if you can only grant 29 levels, do you level a toon to 3 and then grant the levels to get a 60?

I've RAF'd my accounts all from one master: Master -> ABCD

Didn't daisy chain them at all.
