Eck!!!! EEK!

I've been farming H Grundrak for about a week, didn't have any issues with Eck until last night, I wiped 5 times >.< and haven't wiped on this guy before or even come close. Macros are all the same, gear is all the same (except for my new libram of obstruction) but I noticed that my shammy DPS was lower, it's usually around 1500-1600 but was about 1200 last night .....on the collosus I had no issues at all - wierd, maybe I was just tired but Eck has always been so easy - my pally is actually wearing the Eck plate chest piece and has one in the bank - I know that's not really enough info but I was wondering if anyone else has suddenly found something to be quite hard that was so so easy

Exact opposite for me. My 3 mages normally doing 1500 dps suddenly shot up to 1800 dps each with one very minor change in gear. Was running H UK and noticed things dying a ton faster so i checked recount and let out a "WTF, eh who cares, things dying faster." Then started pulling 2.2k dps on VoA today.

I had this happen in HoL at one point... I ran the dungeon on heroic twice and had 0 issues on Ionar - beat him first try. Then, I went in once and I wiped like 4 times on him, and the time I beat him I wiped immediately after he died from his spiders. Weird... Haven't been back since cause I don't need anything from the dungeon so I'm not sure if it would happen again or not.

mmm so what was the minor gear change for you? that's a pretty serious DPS increase.

New WG haste helm on mages. Was only about + 50 sp and the haste on the helm.

ahhh, yes that would be all that technical stuff that I kind of ignore wouldn't it :P

hit cap is 17% but you really only need around 11% for heroics

Hit capped for heroic dungeons is like 6% for raid bosses it's 17%

11% is correct for heroic bosses
