Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?

I was at work at the firestation. I had no way to update because it took out my laptop. One of the virus files was installed from break.com. It was like av something .exe. The other virus was downloaded when I was reading wowwiki.com. It was called fuck3.exe. One virus was downloaded from edwardhomepage.info and the other usabreakingnews.com. I can only assume it was from some advertisement inserted on the websites. My laptop had win xp installed with avg. For some reason the resident scan was not on. I am not sure if that would have caught it or not. I am reinstalling win xp right now on my laptop. Use caution if you visit those websites. If anyone knows a good way to protect from these type of virus attacks I am all ears. I was using Internet Explorer to view both sites.

This is where you went wrong. It's ok, there's a simple fix: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html

It's terrible that these sites are spreading this crap, but you can take steps to protect yourself.

This is a rediculous zelotry. Get IE8, patch your computer, don't be a retard and you're fine. Using anything thats old will get you infected if you're dumb. Firefox is a huge ass memory whore that is slow as balls.
