I just bought this PSU today, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139006, it will be amazing @ 60amps on the 12v rail.

Now that's a nice price for that, I might have to pick that up. (-$70 instant?!) nice.

yea the exact reason I bought it today along with my Antec 900 case. Going to buy the rest of my i7 kit a piece each week. Next week should be able to get my Mobo, then my CPU, then Gfx and Ram. Followed up with HD/Heat Sinks/ and drives.

hey there, i'm a little bit more of a hardware guru than a software guru, if you could give me your pricerange and specific requirements, i'm almost 100% sure i could configure you a better multiboxing setup.
also, if you are willing to wait a month or 2, ATI is unveiling the hd4770, at a 100dollar pricepoint, its supposed to outperform the 8800/9800GT (same as 9600GT but with more SPs) not to mention, with it being a new core, the crossfire scalability is probably amazing (not that you would use crossfire for this application) and, in my experience, with the new shader engine implimented in WoW3.0, ATI cards have an easier time handling WoW due to the higher shader count with lower frequencies (i believe that is why ati cards dominate nvidia cards in WoW).
so if you could just let me know, i think i could help ye out
oh, and that case is expensive... i love lian-li cases, but some are expensive (looking into the a05 meself)
and i'm no ati fanboy... my card in my pc is a 9600GT, great card, looking to SLI next time i have some spare cash..
dont really mean to disrupt your thread with this wall of text, but i was googling something and wound up back on these forums, saw this post, and i just dont like to see people making bad hardware choices :P
good luck! hope to hear from you soon!
edit:
WOOOOOW! excuse my ignorance for your first line lol....
good luck!
and if you have enough amperage on the 12v rail for both cards, the wattage from that psu is fine...
buuut, if you do want to get a new psu, which i reccomend.. corsair is always one of the best options, them and PC power and cooling
but another great brand, that you can get for DIRT cheap is...

BAYUM!
not dualboxing atm, i might get back on the ol' horse tho
All I need is the power supply, I HAVE the rest of the components but thank you for your help.
Here's my requirements:
Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply. Minimum +12v rating of 26 Amps. Sub $100. And of course 24 pin + 8 pin motherboard connectors are a must. I don't need to future proof it really, I just want it to work with the hardware listed above because it's all sitting in the cases right now doing absolutely nothing.
The cases are pricey, but I've been a big Lian Li fan for years. And these aren't that pricey 100 bucks each.
Anyhow, open to suggestions. That Corsair is definitely a contender though.

Well, good news (so far) I decided to work on just one of the computers first just to get the kinks out. I found an inexpensive psu at Best Buy that looked like it would work. A BFG 450 GS. Got it home and had to do a bit of fiddling (the BIOS wouldn't immediately recognize the SSD) but after some work, it looks like Vista is finally installing... *crossing my fingers*
