Software/Hardware Upgrade Advice

I am thinking about upgrading my set up. I currently run on 1 2.16GHz MacBook w/ only 2GB ram (maxed i've been told by many sources.) Running 5 on here is manageable most times but has gotten worse now that I'm in Outland and I imagine impossible in Northrend. I need a better way.

Question #1: Are Clone(d)Keys users with better systems still experience a bad backlog of keystrokes when buttons are mashed more that once a second? Many times my dps will continue trying to cast well after the fight is over.

Question #2: With this issue in mind, I am wondering if I should get a super kind of quad core desktop or another cheaper lap top and hardware box. My concern is that Clone(d)Keys will limit performance no matter the computer and that linking another laptop or two via wireless keyboards would be best.

quite a few of use with maxed out octo-cores are still having that problem. its a problem with OSX's handling of one of the API calls required by clonekeys/clonedkey/keywire

i've moved over to a vista x64 boot camp setup with Keyclone, until i can get a few more machines, and move to a hardware solution.
