I'd rather just download the patch once and copy it to my other computers via flash drive than download the same thing 10 times. Problem is, I have no idea where it ends up. Anyone know?

The downloader will usually show you the name of the patch it is downloading IE WoW-3.0.8.9506-to-3.0.9.9551-enUS-patch.exe or WoW-3.0.2.9056-to-3.0.3.9183-enUS-patch.exe. These are typically stored in the root WoW folder. Often large patches will be stored in the Updates folder, off the WoW root. Such as WoW-2.4.3-to-3.0.1-TBC-USMX-Update and WoW-3.0.1-to-3.0.2-Update
That's where I've been looking, but it doesn't appear there. I know I've downloaded the thing.
Are you looking for the 3.1 stuff?Originally Posted by 'Bigfish',index.php?page=Thread&postID=188826#post 188826
It is in Patches\WoW-3.0.9-to-3.1.0-enUS-Win-patch
Have you tried to open the downloader main window and select File => Open destination folder ?Originally Posted by 'Svpernova09',index.php?page=Thread&postID=188831# post188831
That should open a window showing the directory where the parts are stored.
Atleast, that is under Vista. Don't know if they modified the downloader for the 2 different OS.
This will open your root WoW folder, where all the patches are normally stored, it's just a determination of which patch it is to if it would be in a subfolder.Originally Posted by 'pearfire575',index.php?page=Thread&postID=188833# post188833
On vista these files are downloaded to the users profile folder. The exact path is escaping me as I'm at work.
A brief google points to:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft\Updates
Which sounds right.

That's where it is. Thanks Zanthor.Originally Posted by 'zanthor',index.php?page=Thread&postID=188888#post 188888
