@ 4 boxing shaman in Stormstrike BG 3/2/09 Late Evening - EoTS

...not sure if this boxer is active on these forums, but how did it feel getting sapped.... over and over and over? =P

I was pvp'ing w/ my rogue the other night and I ran into a 4 boxing group of Shaman in Eye of the Storm. I made his life hell in that BG. I caught him transitioning between two towers. I sapped one of his followers so he had to wait until sap wore off. When it did, I sapped another....and so on... for a good 5 minutes. :evil:

I turned this BG into a 14 on 11. It happened to me when I was 3 boxing my shaman in EoTS. I've got to say, it was the most fun I've had in a long time. Distracting, sapping, blinding, gouging, etc... I don't think I'll be pvping w/ my shaman team anymore. I didn't know that ghostwolf was no longer immune to sap.

BTW, whoever you are, you were single-handedly destroying my entire team. Many qq's in /bg chat about you. Nice work... just wrong faction, which is why I had to sap the crap out of you =P

Another reason why the rogue class is retarded. I get a laugh out of idiots doing what you seem to enjoy, have fun sitting there sapping 1 char while I run off my on my 3 and continue raping your team. I could careless if a rogue does this to me, because it means he is wasting his time, and 1 of my alts .. thats an eye for an eye buddy so your really not helping your team. The fact the boxxer in question was just sitting there waiting with his entire team was his mistake I guess, but I get pretty irritated at people who refuse to pvp and just do lame pranks like this to get their jollies off. Either way, if somone saps a char of mine I immediately spread out and drop magma's if I do not get him I just run off on my other 3 and continue doing what I was doing before. If he is stupid enough to actually attack the one I left behind, I'll return and kill him and then go back to what I was doing. Either way he is either sitting there wasting his time or he is going to die if he actually gets ballzy enough to attack the stranded shammie.

If he's a stranded shammie, that means you have already left. I'm pretty sure I can solo a (semi-afk) shaman. If you think you can kill me when I attack, then that means you haven't actually left him yet. If you haven't left him, that means you're sitting there watching the sapped guy, while I go sap another one of yours. You can't kill something that's not in range, and not in sight. Improved sap has an insane range. I can get a sap off on a paladin who has casted consecrate, or a DK w/ their AoE. Even if you out-smart a rogue and catch him w/ a magma or nova totem, cloak of shadows + vanish = poof, gone. BRB.

If you choose to leave one behind, he will die. You will need to run back to "pick him up" or focus on that single character to run him back. Running him back means your other 3 are doing nothing. The more time you spend running around chasing your freshly res'd toons, the less time you spend killing/capping. Your 4 toons are neutralized.

By pvp, you mean Player vs Players, right? or did you mean Player vs Player?

Hey, the battlegrounds are not about killing. It's about neutralizing your opponent and capping. That's why they introduced CC abilities. In WSG, chain sapping the rushing zerg has a huge impact. They all dismount and try to find that annoying rogue pulling the "lame pranks". That's 3-4 people not defending their flag carrier or attacking ours...all because of 1 "retarded" rogue. In AB, chain sapping an opponent while a friendly caps a base, gets the base. In EoTS, randomly sapping people at an opponent controlled base will cause them to call for backup to that 1 base, delaying an attack on one of our bases. Sapping a multiboxer disables "multiple people". It creates an imbalance. Not only that, but sapping somebody over and over makes them VERY angry. They will focus on revenge and not on teamwork. Dude, trust me... when I was boxing, I hated rogues. I thought they were the biggest piece of shit class in the game. That's why I rolled one.

I can minipulate 1 char in the proper direction to regroup with me, be it after your sap wears off or after he rezz's in a gy, yes sometimes I run so far away that I cannot get back to him before the rogue kills him. I am still quiet capable of seeing my stranded shaman in my peripheral vision, no it does not take that much concenstration to see his hp dip, realize the rogue has attacked, drop nova totem, wait 4 sec, thunderstorm, tab over hit GW/trinket and hit auto run in the proper direction(yes I realize you have a million abilities to counter this, still some rogues will fail), I can do all of that inbetween cast's of spells on my main screen as I can swap instantly from char to another. My definition of PvP isnt being a jackass hiding in stealth refusing to fight, and simply running away anytime somone actually does manage to unstealth you. Your just support the fact that rogues are a rediculous class by your claims of how easily you can chain sap harass anyone, not a just a multiboxer. Gratz on playing the biggest dickhead class like the biggest dickhead player good work.



The amount of bullshit rogues have to literally just grief other players is outragous even if they are so bad that the cannot win a 1v1 battle they can still just ruin your night by following you around sapping and no amount of firepower can really effectively stop them. Another reason why open pvp in this game is stupid because a single rogue will ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS win its just a matter of how much time they feel like wasting griefing you, if you are a single player. Multiboxer's will probably eventually luck up and unstealth him and scare him off ( no you cannot kill him if he is descent he will just pop another bullshit cd and run away ). No I do not appreciate you coming here and bragging about how you were so awsome at being a prick rogue, and I doubt you'll find anyone to pat you on the back. Not saying all rogues are pricks but they are given the tool's to be nothing but griefer's with no reprocussions and this guy is just bragging about that I guess.

Gratz you did to a multiboxer what you can do to every other player in the game, yes your a dick, no sapping people over and over again is not PvP, thats just being a dickhead.

Yeah, I know. You made it clear that your definition of PvP is 4 vs 1. Taking away the stealth ability of a rogue is like taking fear away from warlocks, or tremor/grounding totems from a Shaman. The Rogues become another Warrior class and the Lock/Shaman because another Mage. It's what makes the game interesting. I'll agree, rogue class is dirty but they get dumped on by DK's, Warriors, Paladins and really good Hunters and Mages. If they don't get the jump on somebody, they're a worthless class.

I hope you're not trying to imply that I can't PvP 1 on 1...cause that would be pretty hypocritical. If you don't think winning a battleground is about strategy, then you know nothing about battlegrounds. You seem like you only know one strategy...become powerful and invulnerable. I have a strategy to counter this - sap the shit out of you, distract you and break you apart one at a time. Yup, I'm a dickhead because I won't reveal myself so you can kill me. Well, mostly because the longer I stay alive, the more I can keep killing you. I'm sure you understand. Don't like it? Roll a rogue.

Do you know why baseball players taunt the batter by saying "hey, batter batter"? It's not because they're too far to sap him. They want to frustrate the batter so he screws up. I apply this same logic in the battlegrounds and the arena. When you get angry/frustrated, you will make a stupid mistake. I will take advantage of this. I only wish I was your battlegroup so I could do it to you.

Once again, thanks for pointing out rogues can blindly sap whoever they feel like with no reprocussions, everyone knows its OP, everyone who doesn't play a rogue hates it btw. Now you know.

I was quietly levlling in Northrend,when in flies 2 skull Rogues and continue to do this very thing to my lvl 70s for about an Hour,for no reason other than to spam their silly fan of knives.
Rogues seem to attract the most retards of any class from what I can see.
What the OP has done isn't skillful or clever,its just stupid,although its funny when I play my DK's and they try this and dissapear they get kerb stomped.

Grats on getting the lowest amount of honor in that battleground.Who cares about winning or losing battlegrounds? It doesnt bring the best honor anymore..

I always run around farming kills since it brings FAR better honor then staying and defending.

1. If i zerg,zerg,zerg i usualy get the highest honor or 100 lower then the highest on alliance if we lose.
2. Now if we WIN i get way way more then anyone else.

Aka farming hks is the best profit no matter how you put it.

Maybe apart from AV but i havent done that in ages!
