Default WoW will not load on new computer

Well, I posted this in WoW tech support, but nothing, so maybe some of you have had this issue:
I built a new computer, and installed Win XP, then WoW (after all the vid card drivers, etc, etc) and started WoW. It ran fine, but I didn't actually play on it because it is a secondary computer for my new multibox setup. So, basically it's been sitting till I move this week and get everything setup at the new place. Well, tonite I was messing around with this new computer, double clicked the WoW icon, and nothing. I get a brief hourglass cursor, but nothing starts. If I use the launcher, it shows the launch page, and when I click "Play", the launch page disappears, but still no WoW. I completely uninstalled (I.E., removed the WoW directory completely) and copied one of my WoW directories from my main computer, and it does the same thing. WoW will not start. The only thing I can think of that's different from when I first started it is my girlfriend downloaded LimeWire. I immediately removed it when I found out, but nothing else has been done to this computer...it's a new everything (I only build my own computers, I never buy pre-made ones) and a fresh Windows install.

Any ideas or help you can offer?

First. On the machine u have problem starting on. Delete your WOW\INTERFACE and WOW\WTF and WOW\CACHE folders.

Try restart wow. Still not working. Run the Repair tool in the WOW-folder.

Check that you have soundcard drivers installed. And also check that you have DirectX9c or better installed.

Still not working, check WoW website to see that you have met the requirements for what is supported of hardware.

If still not working, try test your system with 3dMarks or something, to check for potential problems, like video not loading, etc.

You can also try start WoW with the launcher after having done the repair of your wow.

Ok, I deleted the cache, wtf, and interface folders, still nothing. According to dxdiag, I'm running 9.0c, and my ATI catalyst software is fresh, as is my soundcard drivers. What's odd is I had WoW running before.

Think I found it....On a brand new build, new copy of Windows...my lovely girlfriend decides to put LimeWire and proceed to download music. My virus scanner just went ape shit removing all the crap it already had infected. WoW now starts. Really odd.

Little late and you seem to have found your problem but every time I get this call at the help desk, the first thing to check for is available space on the c: ,If that's low nothing works right, followed by check your systems for viruses. Those two things are 90% of XXXX app used to work fine, now it doesn't and I swear we haven't changed anything.
