I built a new computer, and installed Win XP, then WoW (after all the vid card drivers, etc, etc) and started WoW. It ran fine, but I didn't actually play on it because it is a secondary computer for my new multibox setup. So, basically it's been sitting till I move this week and get everything setup at the new place. Well, tonite I was messing around with this new computer, double clicked the WoW icon, and nothing. I get a brief hourglass cursor, but nothing starts. If I use the launcher, it shows the launch page, and when I click "Play", the launch page disappears, but still no WoW. I completely uninstalled (I.E., removed the WoW directory completely) and copied one of my WoW directories from my main computer, and it does the same thing. WoW will not start. The only thing I can think of that's different from when I first started it is my girlfriend downloaded LimeWire. I immediately removed it when I found out, but nothing else has been done to this computer...it's a new everything (I only build my own computers, I never buy pre-made ones) and a fresh Windows install.
Any ideas or help you can offer?
