Problem with Keyclone

I have been using Keyclone for a couple months and I just recently encountered a problem with it. Yesterday, I fired it up on both of my machines and on one of them, I get the keyclone disconnect sound effect every 8 seconds or so. Sometimes the beeping quits once i connect my other system to Keyclone but the moment i shut down keyclone on the other machine, the constant beeping every few seconds begins. I have tried rebooting, shutting down keyclone and starting it back up, ending the process, everything i can think of but the problem still persists. I did no hardware or software changes before this occurred, it was completely random. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Using vista?
Reinstall the keyclone (save ur keymaps if u have any) and run Keyclone as admin.

Yes, I'm using Vista. I do currently run it as administrator. I have not tried to re-install it. Perhaps I will try this next. Thank you.

ok...i have everything set up but i cant connect to both of the screens...pls help or reply.

sounds like you have auto-reconnect enabled and the connection is not establishing.

look at both keyclones, do they both show the connection line or just one?

if only one, then go to the keyclone that is trying to connect.. go to keyclone/setup/general ... and compare the ip and port with the ip and port on the other keyclone's titlebar (look carefully)

if that is a match, and assuming both machines are on the same subnet, then the issue is usually a newly installed software firewall that is blocking.

yes, i have vent, skype, vonage, and sprint. i also have email, irc, icq, yahooIM, aim, msn, and jabber. hell, i even have a FAX if that helps.

did you try what i suggested?
