Warlock Summons Changes

Hmmmm...something I just read on www.worldofwar.net:

Tigole earlier revealed that Blizzard are planning to make the Warlock summon spell able to summon a group member from anywhere to the inside of an instance.

This announcement came after a US forum member commented that the summon facility currently seems to be down:
We had to disable summoning yesterday via emergency hotfix due to some exploits. We're hoping to re-enable summoning as soon as possible. We know it's a big inconvenience and we apologize.

On a related note, we're looking into fixing some issues with summoning that would once again enable us to allow warlocks to summon people into an instance from anywhere in the world. This could happen as soon as the next big content patch (2.4.0) if all of the technical issues can be resolved by then.

A real advantage in summoning in Arena's would be to put up as many summons up as possible before the battle starts, run out and as you are about to engage to accept the summon. The enemy would be thrown for that split second trying to figure out where the hell you went right as you kill him.
