Malygos25 5-boxed 6-min-kill

Our guild was going to do a 6minute malygos kill this week, but at the arranged date we had a shortage of people showing up for it, so they asked me to come on my shamans instead of my main hunter.

As a result, 5x the achievement of heroic malygos 6 minute kill :-)

now I just have to convince them to let me do Immortal so i can get my black drake

I wasn't aware of Malygos able to be done by multiboxers..
Gratz for you but can you explain a little the strategy for the fight ?

for the 6 min kill most people use a tactic where noone uses shields. you just spam 1-1-2-1-1-2 etc all the time, grouped up, and move when there is a spark, 90 degrees every time.

When you have to do the shields it takes quite a few macros to have the shield separate on every shammy, but its doable

6 minute malygos is no joke, thats impressive. I've 5 box'd maly a few times but I find its more trouble than its worth usually because I always lose toon in phase 3, the movement with autofollow seems far to sluggish to avoid the electric fields he throws out or maybe the heals I go with are just lacking. More over you have to have a raid full of 5k-7k dps people to get 6 minutes so you have to be rocking some impressive numbers there. My guild still hasn't gotten this achievement, it and immortal are our last ones ( we've had someone die on KT twice now ).

how do u get them to follow u? i have to manually do it by finding my brain, clicking on her, and typing /follow. can u bind it to a key or something? if so plz explain thatd be awesome! i might be able to box the oculus then

I use 'focus' for my /following.

I do have to use my /focus leader macro once one when I get on the vehicles because mounting vehicles makes you loose focus.
After that just /follow focus and its done

About moving from the sparks, if you look at the boss closely you will see him firing the sparks before they can do any damage, I usually start moving then already so I don't get hit at all, or minimal
