We used to put on ye olde 'cruit boots and "ski" down the hill. At times, we'd make it a good half mile without hitting the snowbanks on the edges. We did get a picture once but it ended in disaster as the pile-up at the bottom of the road by the mess hall summarily destroyed the camera (and this was before flash memory). :P
