    Default New to dual-boxing

Hi, I recently got into dual boxing; seems as though everything is working really good. I just have one question. Is there a way to dual box and not have to run a a split screen. Can you not do it and just have one window and see both characters in it?

You mean like have 2 guys in 1 wow? That's a no if that's what you mean.

You could open two copies of wow and then expand the main characters window to cover your whole screen. The alternate character would still run in the background and obey any macros that you're running. Is this what you're trying to do?

Yeah I know I need 2 copies running but the spilt screen bug's my eyes out. I want to hide the slave and and run the main full screen,or possibly the keyclone pip would be better?

You can have overlap on the pip but you'll see that you will want the slave to be visible even if it's tiny or overlapped by the master.

This is basically what I do as I run only 2 accounts. I play windowed mode with both wows maximized with the main being the active window. This way when I need to switch windows it is just a quick click to switch.

Yeah i generally play in windows mode also. It is easy to click back in forth between accounts if I need to.

    you can:

get keyclone which has a PiP function.
windowsnapper does it too i think.
    or something called maximizer.

you'll have to find these yourself as i am a bit busy at work today. good luck.
also, if you're controlling your characters independently, i suggest you get a key broadcasting software.

Most modern graphics cards have connections for 2 monitors. If you have the spare cash it's well worth investing in a 2nd monitor. You can then run one WoW full screen on each monitor.

Once you've tried 2 monitors you won't want to go back to 1 - not just for WoW but for all the other things you do on your computer.
