healing stream is more of an issue than mana stream, imo.

i have no experience, tbh. my shamans are only just about to hit 70.. but for heroics stacked healing stream HAS to be one of the key factors of a shaman team. not only do you not have the extra healing now, but you will have to spend time/mana interrupting DPS to outheal aoe damage that your totems used to take care of? big difference.

it feels like an extra kick in the rear end since 5 minutes ago they werent talking about nerfing totems, they were talking about combining mana/healing, which is literally THE feature that got me excited enough to actually reopen my wow accounts a couple of weeks ago. now theyve not only flushed that, but decided to add an extra nerf into the mix. over it at this stage. thinking about either rerolling to another class or just letting my subscription expire if this actually goes through.

i do ilke the idea of multiple priests or druids. druids particularly since i think they would be decent for PvP and PvE. spending two weeks leveling shamans seems like i wasted my time now.
It hurts, yes, but it's not even close to "one of the key factors of a shaman team" imo.

It would vary for every person (talents/gear/how much you hate drinking ), I'm sure, but I typically drop 1xmana,3xhealing. If I need any resist totem (which is quite frequently), it replaces one of the healing streams. I even sometimes run 2 resist totems, which brings me down to 1x healing stream. My group makes it just fine, and yes, some of these fights are heavy aoe dmg fights too.

I'm not happy about it either, but it isn't groundbreaking. I would recommend staying on target and getting those shaman to 80.
