i see your point, its not explicitly stated in his post but its fairly obviously implied. going to the effort of making BoW and mana spring mutually exclusive while allowing unlimited stack-able mana springs would be completely illogical. same goes for healing stream. unlimited raid-wide healing streams would just be ridiculous and game breaking. clearly it will not stack.

It's Friday, so forgive me if I'm not thinking about this clearly, but the issue at hand is someone here stated that there will be changes to the healing stream totems.
More specifically, it was stated that Healing Stream totem would be going raid wide.

Currently, Healing Stream totem affects your group only.

I've looked (believe me... really hard at this point), to find any evidence of Healing Stream becoming a raid wide buff. To date, I can not find any information confirming the fact that Healing Stream totem will be raid wide

As Fursphere mentioned earlier, when something goes raid wide, it is implied that the spell no longer stacks. This would mean that Healing Stream would no longer stack, if indeed it goes "raid wide". However, again, I still have been unable to find anything that states Healing Stream totem has been changed and is now a raid wide spell.

If someone can confirm that Healing Stream totem is becoming a raid wide totem, please, please, please... post it here to provide some clarity!

you know, maybe i shouldnt post at 7am lol i just reread (twice) that blue post, and youre right. for some reason i keep connecting healing stream with mana spring and thinking theyre being lumped into the same boat..

if it is indeed only mana spring being made raid-wide i can totally deal with that. healing stream (for PvE) is my primary concern.

sorry if im being thick. you just made me happy that i rolled shamans again (maybe?) :S

I just logged on to PTR with two of my shamans to do a quick test:

NO mods enabled, NO talent points assigned, NO buffs, NO glyphs.

Shaman1 by himself (1750 spell dmg): healing stream is 150/tick
Shaman2 by himself (2050 spell dmg): healing stream is 193/tick

When I group the two of them together in the same party, they BOTH get stacking healing stream totems effects in combat log and in portrait window.
When I turn it into a raid, they BOTH get stacking healing stream totem effects if in same party.
When I move the shamans into different parties in the raid, the healing stream totems do NOT stack anymore.

In essence, healing stream on PTR currently is unchanged completely from 3.09. Its a party-only buff and stacks. They may not be done fiddling with it though and I would guess they turn it into a raid-wide, non stacking totem before 3.1 goes live. However, at this time on PTR it is exactly the same as it is live.

back to leveling my DK now, we'll see how totems change on PTR in upcoming weeks.

TS while stunned is such a HUGE one for me.

Losing controll on my characters, any of them, is such a hassle for me. It's a personal stun for 'me' and not just in the game haha. Knowing that i can now TS and basically neglect the stun is huge.
