Default Duo vs Trio and Content in Eq2

    Hi all,
I just started multiboxing Eq2 and I am already addicted. Currently I have multiboxed a SK/Defiler combo to level 20 using Innerspace. I have a question about the content that I will be able to handle playing 2 characters vs what would be doable with 3 characters. Are you pretty much locked into quests with a duo or can they effectively go dungeon crawling? I would add a third account...dps...probably a warlock...if it would allow me to see alot more content. I just built a new rig (i7 920@3.4ghz, 6gb Corsair Dominator, GTX 295, 28" monitor) so I don't think performance will be a problem(unless RAM usage becomes a problem with 3 accounts). Any input you guys have on this would be greatly appreciated.

6g will be fine for 3 accounts if you don't pump the graphics up. My husband and I duoed a lot the first time around {pre EoF}. We saw a lot of stuff, but it just gets to a point where you can only do so much. 3 would allow you to do a lot more than 2 would. As a fury/sk duo, we kicked butt, but when it came to the stuff we couldn't do, it was always "If we only had 1 dps..."

Does EQ use more Ram than wow then? You can run 5 wow accounts on max settings on that rig.

EQ2 is a lot more graphics intense than WoW. Running 1 instance on med high settings and 4 on "Very High Performance" and capped at 13 fps usually leaves me sitting about 5.5 out of 8g. Turning on too many particle effects, shadows and animations will quickly eat up a ton of resources when you're multi-boxing.

I'm running a slightly lesser rig with 8 gigs of ram with no problems.
I have the main account set to almost max settings and the slaves turned down quite a bit.

I always change the display of vegetation or grass or whatever.. it drives me crazy to see it up to my knees..
I just want to get the lawn mower out instead of play. :S

Thanks for the feedback everyone  I am going to use another RAF invite and give triple boxing a whirl. If it works out great, if not I got a free month on my second account and another fancy mount Looks like I have a good excuse to finally buy a new Logitech G11 keyboard.
