I find my paladin has more synergy with the shammies than the war, but since I already have a 70 resto shammy I was more concerned with getting a tank -- any tank -- to 70.

Now that I think it over, a feral druid would have probaby been best, given that you can just respec moonkin for PvP and swipe (hits 3 targets) hits the same number of targets as chain lightning.
