2 types of boxers..
1. want to pawn so they make 5 toons instead of 1. and play the game normally but with x5 dps.
2. dont want to play with anyone so they make a group and hide in the corner..
My group= "1"
You left out the boxers whose playtime isn't consistent enough to maintain a presence in a guild, yet love running instances, yet hate PuGs. (mine)
Aaand the nerds who rejoice in making things work differently, usually through lots of scripts and batch files and more effort than it's probably worth. (mine also)
Aaand those who don't care about dominating other players, but want to do something that few other WoW players have accomplished. Pfft to the Achievements system. (mine as well)
Aaand the multitude of other reasons that don't fall into your two neat categories.![]()
MY MINIONS on Lightbringer US: Osaar (80 BE Paladin) - Esaar, Isaar, and Usaar (80 BE Warlocks) - Harmsworth (80 UD Priest)
I know of two on my server. One was a 5 shaman team in a guild called Multibox (or something similar) who used to hang around outside the arena master a lot, I'm not a pvper myself so figured I wouldn't have much to talk to them about. Second one was recently when I was questing on my 2 shaman, noticed my health drop out of combat and saw a priest had buffed me and targetted them to thank them (if I ever get a gamepad I'm binding emotes to a few keys so both toons can be nice), then I noticed motw on me and saw a druid just behind the priest.
They mounted up at the same time and rode off with the druid in the right place to be following the priest (rather than two unique players), didn't see them fighting though so it may just have been two friends playing together. They didn't whisper anything to me (and I'd been fighting so they would have known I was a MB) and I think they were in one of the foriegn guilds on my server so i didn't want to whisper them in case they weren't comfortable speaking in English. Even if they weren't a boxer it's nice to have someone buff both of my toons, I just felt bad that I couldn't buff them back.
Personally I MB (not very often) a) because it's faster than levelling two characters individually and b) because it's a bit different to levelling one at a time and after levelling a few toons it's nice to have a change of pace.
Or editing macros! I really cba on voice chat or regular chat when I'm writing macros.Originally Posted by 'Seraphaw',index.php?page=Thread&postID=185260#pos t185260
There's a guy like that on my server. I was level 66 or so in Terrokar the first time I saw him.
Haven't talked to him since because I felt like I was bothering him.
Then during the scourge invasion, I saw a 5-class team of alliance which were all human except for one Night Elf. They also ALL had the ambassador title.
I would've loved to talk to her, but being alliance and all she could only grunt and snort. Still the conversation would have been better than the one you had.
I personally run around with my combat logs on all my toons most of the time, one reason is that people always ask the same questions and i honestly cant be botherd, secondly alot of the time im sat on the couch with the misses talking or im on vent talking to mates, so theres really no reason to look at the chat.

I have met a horde arcane mages group on Cyclone battlegroup EU servers a couple of times.
Always when I kill him he stays away from my group. Anyways, our only communication tends to be "You hit my grounding totems... I kill you... thx for the free honor points".
Thanks to him I learned that if a shaman has a single grounding totem casting 5 chain lightnings at once will make them all land into the totem, so when I see a poor shaman laying a grounding totem I just shock the totem with my main and then chain lightning him to death with the slaves.
Anachronos EU
Loladunus --> Paladin Tank (PvE) || Xuljin --> Shaman DPS (PvP)
Buljin, Nuljin, Muljin --> Shaman DPS
Tuljin --> Shaman Healer
Chogup --> Powerwar's imp
First boxer I met was right in my first 5v5 match. I freshly dinged 70, got me the blue pvp set and a paladin friend. I ended up 10 games against a 5boxer with s2 gear. I managed to kill him the first time but after that he abused the gear difference (about 5k hp) and thunderstorm bombed me.
First multiboxer I met was in AV, opposite faction. I don't even recall his name now. Although during AV I spaced out (was easy to pewpew) and next thing I knew I was being attacked by x4 orc shamanbleeeeh dead.
Luckily for me the multiboxers on Frostmourne are nice ;D at least nice enough not to put me on ignore when I spam them :P (even the ex-multiboxers are up for chat haha, even when I don't want to talk :love: )
