How easy is Moorabi, High Prophet of Mam'toth, on Heroic?

In my probably 6 kills of the snake boss and probably 20 wipes, the adds have never been the problem. My pally seems to pick most of them up at the base of the stairs and those that get through just don't do enough damage to my party to be a factor. Its usually me missing a poison burst from the boss that burns my pretty weak tank down or a wrap and my failure to switch to the super macro that targets the wrap and dps's it away.

He's actually a very easy encounter imho.

This boss is cake if you have interrupts, otherwise this boss can be a @$^# of epic proportions.

Normally I one-shot this boss but tonight I wiped 5 times on him. Only my warrior can interrupt his transformation, and the cooldown is too long on my shield bash for me to interrupt him more than twice. The third time he WILL transform and he will begin doing some serious damage. Coupled with the fact that the rest of my group is in cloth, his ground tremors hit them for 9k. This means two ground tremors and they're at approximately 1k health. Considering he can do this 3 times in about 10-15 seconds (if you're unlucky) he can wipe my group pretty quickly.

And no, felhunters can' spell lock him for some reason -- the transformation can't be interrupted by their spell lock.

Funny thing is he wastes most of his attack time puking and hopping around, so keep going if you hit enrage as you might get no melee attacks for like 10 secs.

I beat Moorabi last night. Personal best getting three bosses down. Tried the final boss once and wiped. Getting closer.

My only challenge with Moorabi is keeping the supporting guys alive from AE damage. (60 yard radius, btw, so can't outrange from what I've read) I macro'd a /use fel healthstone, /use runic healing potion to help my priest's AE and keep the supporting crew alive while my priest focuses on the tank.

Worked like a charm.

When i first started doing heroics and was serverly undergeared I would just position all my guys by the entrance (up on top of the stairs) and use my pally tank to pull snake boss up there. Just gives you a lil more time to dps him down before those lil nasty snakes get to you =D
