    [s]For snake boss - are you fighting him in his room or pulling him to the doorway?

    Even without the sham team, if I put everyone up on the ramp and pull him to the doorway we've been able to consistently kill him before anyone gets wrapped. That's the way I started killing him, which worked out fairly well even starting out when my sham were struggling to hit 1500dps under bloodlust (now the kills look more like what Hachoo describes) - I know for my guild, when they tried to do it with 2 healers, a tank and 2 sub-geared dps they were overrun every time, so there is likely a DPS threshold to pull this off. Sadly I don't really have a group-dps number offhand for dropping him before the snakes become an issue.

    I don't know about the elemental room but I was able to three man him by pulling him up to the zone-in. I had to throw everything at him to get him down before the snakes came (which they eventually did and wiped me just after the boss died). I had my shaman throwing lightning bolts in between heals, had flasks, stat food, and blew every cooldown I could and it was just enough dps to do it.

    (EDIT: I also respected my pally to pick up improved blessing of might and heart of the crusader)

    I thought I was going to be slick and be able to pull the stone boss too. I jumped in the water and swam over to the little island in the middle with the stairs. After dodging the uber crazy fish and having to rez my shaman I set up to pull boss down the stairs. WHOOPS! All the mobs in the circle area on the other side of the boss aggroed and WTFPWND my group. I may try going through the trash and giving this guy an attempt just for the sake of it.

    There's no way I'm doing Eck however. I wasn't even close when I hit the enrage timer.

    Eck has an enrage timer? Wow, I've killed him like 60 times and didn't even know about this. When does it go off? I think my first kill on him was probably 1 minute or so but now I have him down to about 17 seconds.

    I haven't done heroics in a few weeks but unless they slipped in a hotfix after 3.09 none of the Gundrak bosses are leashed, you can run around all over the place with them. I'll be running them again this weekend or next week in marathons to get my DK geared up so will letcha know.

    Eck has a hard enrage of something like a minute, I was once trying to get everyone sprayed for the achievement (kill last boss with eck gunk still on you) and he suddenly enraged after like a minute and 1 shotted everyone. So yeah, you don't want to waste time on that boss, just go all out from the get go.

    Eck has a double enrage timer. Eck Berserk is likely what he's talking about: Increases his attack speed by 150% and all damage he deals by 500%. This triggers approximately 60-90 seconds into the fight, and almost guarantees a wipe unless he is on the very last of his health. -wowwiki

    I successful three-manned Drakkari Colossus / Elemental last night after many many wipes and messing with healing rotation. Here is what I did:

    Phase 1 - Colossus Phase: I simply used autoshot and pet attack to do dps and just spot healed the tank as needed. This allowed me to conserve mana for the later phases

    Phase 2 - Elemental: I moved my tank closer to my slaves and formed a tight triangle: spread out enough to keep everyone in chain heal range but out of range of each others ground debuff. I did not move my toons a single bit. I changed my healing rotation to use a /click method where I would randomly cast a chain heal on either the tank or my shaman. This was more than enough to keep everyone's health up through the group damage. I tried it with spamming chain heals just on tank and a try where I spammed chain heals on my healer and neither would work. The random target was what did it. I then went balls-to-walls on dps during this phase.

    Phase 3 - back to Colossus: Tank grabbed aggro and again, i just used auto shot and pet attack while I healed up and got back up to full mana. I think at the start of this phase I nudged my toons a step or two to get out of the aoe damage.

    Phase 4 - final phase: Moved back into the triangle formation, popped heroism, blew trinkets and all cooldowns and wtfpwn'ed the elemental until he was dead.

    The snake boss is pretty much a tank and spank fight, i even frapsed the wrap achivment with my crappy gear.

    The very first time I think I got lucky and had a string of major crits. It then took me 3 or 4 more tries to get him down after that. He "goes berserk", then "Increasingly berserk", then something like "Totally berserk (forget what it says)". If you don't have him to 5% or so, that Totally Berserk part will probably wipe you. I usually get him dead about the time he goes "Berserk" now. Plus, I found an improvement over Hachoo's video. Instead of standing against the wall, go inside that tunnel and back your DPS all the way against the wall. He can't get behind or beside you, so you do *NOT have to worry about them not casting when he leaps.

    He can't get behind my shamans where I have them situated either. I've killed Eck at least 40 times and my shamans have never been unable to cast due to where he leaps. The trick is bunching them into the corner so no matter where he jumps they'll always be facing him slightly.

    yeah the corner in Hachoo's video is good, as are a few other corners - just need the casters all the way against the wall and they don't need to move.
