How much Resilience does a typical level 80 in non-rating requirement PvP have, and how much DoT reduction is that?

Your question is a bit open ended, however in regards to the dot reduction - have a look at this link:

Can't access Wowwiki where I am. Does it address how much resilience a casual PvPer has?
No it just explains how resillience work and i cant say i ever heard of any site that shows average stats or something like that.
If your asking for the average resillience in bgs it varies from 0-1000 but since the cheap parts bring you to 300 resillience i would say that majority is from 300-600. Most people dont do bgs after they collected all theyr honor parts.
There are also classes that dont need resillience that much to survive and mix in pve gear for great success. Paladins and Dks mix in pve due to already having great survivability, cloth classes on the other hand ususaly go for pure pvp gear.
Check the link in my sig, check the main shaman (he is the guild leader). He has pretty much all the non-rating req pvp items for around 770 resilience, assuming last snapshot he was in his pvp gear!Originally Posted by 'Bigfish',index.php?page=Thread&postID=183221#post 183221
Dot and chance to be critted is reduced by about 9.5%
Crit damage reduced by about 20%
Not sure how things vary from class to class, if at all, but maybe that's a crude baseline for you.
