Yes the glowing bawls to the face… Lol. I really didn’t
think anything was going to happen, I thought it would have just been an add
that I would kill easily with Pestilence/Howling Blast.

Sad thing is, it does take me a little longer than most
groups to get through Heroics, but it’s just random occurrences that slow me
down. One set of mobs can be tanked no problem, then the same set of mobs can
kill two toons… Same attacks, same everything, it’s all just random.

Violet Hold was like that for me. I dropped a few times
because of the “random” and two of the times, it was right at the last Portal.

I keep telling myself to finish my movies, I would do Heroic
movies, but they are so random right now (trash mobs) that it would just take
more time editing the movie to run at a decent pace.

They are getting easier as I go along (imagine that?) lol.
Now I’ve got 50 Heroism so I only need 30 more to get my T7 Chest piece. Which
I will probably get by Friday, given that I clear 3 Heroics a night after work.

I also have another idea for my videos, so I am working on
that as well. I hopefully will have something up sometime this week.

Cool, grats on VH. I use AoD on Cyanigosa as sometimes shes a pushover and sometimes she just seems to time everything right to wipe you. I also use it on the void boss (he will stop you from healing yourself with a debuff, so you gotta kill him fast.) All the other ones in there are easy =)

I could see that some of the bosses in VH could be tricky for your group.

If you have any trouble with the portals, though, there's a simple thing to do. Usually it's the last couple of portals with the 4 man elite squads that are a PITA. The sorcerers are nasty with their channeled random spell and knockback. Just rememeber that these guys will go straight for the portal if they don't aggro on you. You can let them do that and just death grip them one at a time to your group - pow - instant crowd control. This makes the 4-man groups cake. They might take a few % off your shield - who cares?

Yeah, she would catch me off guard some times, it was luck that I got her down this time because of this random thing that he bosses have been doing on me where they just stand there and not attack... It's not lag, because my toons are still plugging away at her, and she just stands there, so I got a good 10 seconds of no hits. She still turned at killed two of my toons, but there is something that is happening to the bosses with DK groups.

On the General in HOL, he stood there for 20 seconds not doing a damn thing so I just whacked away at his health and dropped him 20% and killed him.

Yeah, thats a smart way of doing those groups.The only reason I die to trash in that Dungeon is the 4 man groups because of those casters.
I was just trying to get the 100% Achichment.
Now that I got it, I can do as you said and make it easier.

Little did I know is that if you die and the portals are still open and there is health on the gate, you can run back in there and keep going, well I ran in there on 17/18 portals, killed what I needed, but there was 2 portals open, I took down one, and ran to the other, well I guess that portal was the 18th and the boss spawned, and I was still taking out the other portal and it's mobs... they went over realy nice...

What are you tackling at 75 now? Doing any Dungeons?

Lolz, yeah, I ran back once after wiping on the 17th portal only to find Cyanigosa had spawned and was just starting to beat on the door when she noticed I was re-zoning into the instance. She wasn't happy to see me, nor I her.

What are you tackling at 75 now? Doing any Dungeons?

Cleared Drak'Tharon @ 75 pretty easily - lost 1 guy on King Dred becuase I got feared into other raptors lol.

They hit 76 last night as well - so I'll probably be hitting Violet Hold and Gun'drak in the next few days....529 Def with thier tanking gear certainly helps.

Well that's great. So you're moving right a long.

With my spec at that place (I had Lichborne) so if he feared, I just popped that and I was fine for a little while, lol.
It does make things a lot easier, but it's getting nerfed in the patch (no 20% dodge) Which then just makes it a PVP (oh shite button) rather than a PVE (Oh shite button).

I think after drak, i walked right into Gun at 75.
