Not sure if someone said it already... You can now be sapped in ghost wolf. GG Blizzard. Another way to stick it to elementals in pvp.Originally Posted by 'Kicksome',index.php?page=Thread&postID=183662#pos t183662

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
another note, why do ally not queue for AV in that Battlegroup?
Stormstrike has a long history with AV.
In those battlegroups where the Alliance no longer signs up for Alterac Valley, and the Horde win 100% of the time, they are relishing in the ease with which they can set up their own northward attack and destroy the Alliance offense in just a few important battles near the beginning of each match. The Alliance decides not to play a hopeless game, and the Horde has to wait an hour or two in the queue for each guaranteed win. However, to put it very simply -- it's faster (particularly when you look at the BG mark turnin not requiring AV marks) to gain honor in the other 4 battlegrounds than it does with AV. For stormstrike in particular, I find that the alliance win/loss ratio (whether multiboxing or not) is best in EotS, followed by AB. Our worst battleground is WSG, and we break about even in Strand.Horde who shut out the Alliance completely may feel very happy with themselves -- perhaps even justifiably so in some cases -- but they're doing themselves a disservice in the long run. Losers who gain nothing from a battle don't come back to lose over and over again, no matter how much they love the game.

Uhm, horde have always lost AV in my Bg, it was my understanding FWK is MUCH easier to penatrate than DB, I mean, you have a 50yard long bridge that is a 1 way access point in plane view of your towers, we have a massive wall that can be hurtled at many points not to mention our own base blocks our tower archer's views making it amazingly easy to simply run past any would be defender and cap our RH. I guess it goes either way across different bg's but yes, cyclone BG .. horde loses almost everytime, I think I have like an 85% win rate but .. a 5 boxer on D goes a long ways. Infact I can't even do AV anymore because plenty of times in the day theres simply no horde willing to queue so its like 10v40 blow outs.

A little harsh on Farleito i think mrmcgee, going by your first few posts in this thread.
I have to admit, rogues sapping me in BGs is a real pet hate, it annoys the shit out of me. But at the same time, im pretty sure i annoy more people by putting 5 x lightning bolts up their ass....if his single boxing tactic screws you over, i see no reason why you should get on your high horse about it "not being pvp". :> Spread some love <3

On stormstrike, the PuG horde will go back and recap towers and prevent people from "just running through" and reaching frostwolf. In your example "a multiboxer on D goes a long way" -- but if the horde is naturally defensive, then they're already covering that.Originally Posted by 'mrmcgee21',index.php?page=Thread&postID=185078#po st185078
Basically, in stormstrike you have to leave folks guarding every tower you're capping and go bit by bit. The reason for the distaste for AV post-reinforcements was that horde could (at that time) take one of our towers and defend that point long enough to cap it, while preventing anyone from getting past the IBGY choke. This resulted in a guaranteed loss that resulted in 0 honor... so, naturally, alliance stopped queueing for an hour-long, 0-honor BG and started queueing for more productive BGs.
In general, thanks to a D-heavy strategy on both sides now, stormstrike AVs are long and extended reinforcement battles. So it's simply easier to farm honor in the faster BGs.

My hats off to you sir rogue. I personally hate rogues but I dont see what you did as being wrong or unskillful as other people put it. Its combat. The object is to neutralize your enemy in the best way you can. So if you take the 4 shamans out of combat while removing yourself from combat, you have helped your side tremendously. Personally, I detest the annoying factor of rogues....but its par for the course.
And cool beans to you sir shaman boxer that said that was me. I know I myself do it as well. And as a side note, I was doing a semi premade eots with 5 friends and we ran into Aelli. Unfortunately, Aelli choose this footage for his new video which shows our utter destruction
. But I still have my memory of kililng your squad with my squad in AV pre Wotlk and then you chasing me to the Dun and knocking me off the bridge

I run into this from time to time on all my boxing teams.
Only teams I can in BG's.

I've always had a Rogue or two come and Sap my toons. I of course get annoyed just like anyone else.
Name of the game?
No, not really. A class that can control someone else from a distance, boxing or not, is not cool at all. And by control, I mean, stopping them from doing anything for a good amount of time. How do I know?, because I'm a Rogue at heart. I started with a Rogue. I would Stunlock all classes to death before they could do anything. Was it Fair? Hell fucking no, but if they caught me off guard with CDs on a timer, I'm phuked. But now and days, Rogues can get out of, stop, control ANYTHING as long as they know what they are doing.
This arguement/joint conversataion/friendly conversataion/non-friendly conversataion is a never ending theme.
IE, I think this class is OP because they killed me... Or because this class did this to me. It's never going to stop.
This goes back to way before the boxing scene came about (or rather, Popular), when Rogues could take on any class while NAKED and control the whole fight from start to finish.
What do I do to stop it? Nothing special.
All classes have a way of flagging them out.
My hunters go on Pet agresive, pop see Invis, Trap the hell out of the place, and keep my toons running around the sapped in hopes of getting luck.
Shamans, Keep dropping totems and TS in hopes to find him.
DK's, random AOE drop down and running around.
Warlocks, pet agresive, Rain of Fire anyone?
Mages, go invis, Blizzard, Nova, and running around?
Druids? Feral, kitty form anyone?
Priests, ohm, not much chance other than AOE SS.
It's going to happen, but it's not 100% flawless.
A good fight is never clean.
